Bombay Pantry - Glenageary — Restaurant in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown

After being a customer for 15+ years, safe to say I will not order again after my experience with Bombay pantry on Sunday night. After being sent a money off code from your company as a Thankyou for placing 10 orders , when I went to redeem it on Sunday night , it would not work on web order or app order. When I finally rang the glenageary store and placed my order , I was then told I couldn’t redeem money off codes by a phone order. Was told it was an issue with your customer service and to deal with them ( which I’ve sent an email , and clearly no reply after seeing how badly this was dealt with instore). When I also spoke to the manager to repeat that your store gave me the money off code , he was less than helpful, then saying it was an issue with the texting company and to deal with them ??!! Terrible customer service , terrible staff and managerial skills. Given the time we are going through , this money off code was a nice pick me up after ordering from you throughout the pandemic.I have reached out but still no help or explanations offered, after the hassle and annoyance of it all , I will not support or...

Ordered food via just eat, the order was confirmed and my account was debited. After waiting over an hour with no sign of delivery I contacted the restaurant to be told that they didn't have any record of the order. The manager was completely unhelpful and rude and said they would not be completing the order. I contacted Justeat who then contacted the restaurant, I was told the order had been processed but not delivered! The manager hadn't even attempted to resolve the issue and if he was in anyway competent he would have checked processed orders. I've now been told it will be 3-7 days to receive a refund so I'm in essence lending money to the restaurant 🤬

REALLY bad organisation / management / customer service! Ordered online at 10pm on a Friday (open til 10:30pm). Got a call from them 10 mins later asking if I would be willing to COLLECT the order?! She explained that the driver would't be back in time for the kitchen closing to delivery my order. Obviously nowhere near enough drivers on a Friday night.. This wasn't even the worst part - when I said I wouldn't be able collect it, and that I'd just have to cancel it (expecting her offer credit on my account or something to apologise for their gross error) the woman on the phone said 'ok, that's no problem', said goodbye and hung up!
