Oriental Express — Restaurant in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown

If I could give no stars I would. Completely avoid this place.

This will be a lengthy review. First of all, on their website in one area it outlines what is In the spice bag. For any of the combos it does not tell you what is in it other than a spice bag and curry sauce. When we rang to get this fixed, we were served with a horrible customer service representative, who clearly has no knowledge on how to handle customers. She was extremely passive agressive and was unsure on how to handle this situation. We ordered the spice bag and there was no flavour or any spice on the “spice” bag.

Eventually, we came to the conclusion that we would recieve a new and improved “spice bag”. We arrived back into the place and there was no apology, nothing except a passive agressive person, having a go at a customer for complaining about the quality of their food. This was an absolute disgrace, and a complete waste of 27 euro!

At the end I told the lady that I will never return and her answer was good and I have to say from a customers point of view, that is an extremely unprofessional way to go about things.

Oriental Express provides the best Chinese takeaway experience in Dublin. Their menus have a wide variety of choices and you can be sure that any dish you order will be delicious! This is most certainly down to the fact that all the meat and veg used are fresh and that the team of chiefs in the Oriental Express take great pride and care in their food !

Whilst you head for the food experience, you'll most certainly know the great service you will receive ! The staff are warm and welcoming and will always find a way to cater to your needs. I love spicy food but I rarely find food spicy enough for me in Irish Chinese takeaways, but the great staff and chiefs at the Oriental Express will adjust meals at your request and I'm glad to say the Oriental Express has provided a truly tasty and spicy food experience for me !

0/1000000000000 Worst customer experience I have ever encountered in my 46 years on this planet. My daughter accidentally ordered on line and chose the incorrect County. Human error eh. Rang immediately and was told the food was cooked and nothing could be done to rectify the mistake. They really need to take a long hard look at their customer service. Mandatory1 star has to be ticked in order to post. This is the only reason one star is attached to my review. Just to add I rang within 60 secs of the order been placed.
