Igo Cafe — Restaurant in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown

I haven’t had any problems with this cafe before and I would normally never complain publicly but my experience with this place this afternoon was just out straight ridiculous.

If you want to wait nearly 2 hours for your food and be told to go collect it from someone else’s porch and then to be screamed down at on the phone over their mistake for nearly madly stupidly wanting to order the same order again.. please do order from this shambles of a company!

Ordered at 12:45, they “didn’t know where their driver was” was told it would be 40 minutes… No Worries

Just before 2:00 we rang to see where our delivery was and was told the driver was on the way with it.. Happy Days

Nearly 2:30 now and we rang to see how it was taken so long as Sallynoggin is just down the road to be answered on the phone by a rude and clearly frustrated woman to tell us our delivery has

1: Been delivered (not to us) 2: Been left outside the door (not our door) 3: They rang and no answer on our phone (no calls were missed as we were early waiting for a food) 4: Then said they hadn’t got our number to call us and no one was answering the door

And basically if we want it, to go find the address it was delivered it and go get it 😂

How ridiculous is that but not only that but

When we try ask for another delivery she screams down hell on the phone to which I hang up.

Lady rings back calmer this time and tells us we can have the delivery with no charge if we just go to this someone’s porch and collect our rolls 😂😂

As I said I normally don’t do this I am just putting everyone wide to what you could have to deal with when...

My family and I only started ordering from the Ihe cafe in the last 2 months. I've waited for a while to ensure an accurate review and rating.We've ordered Breakfast rolls, Caessr salads, the steak casserole and some of the sandwiches. Everything was fresh, tasty & filling and the rolls and casserole were hot when delivered. The portions are very good. The delivery service was like the food, excellent with a personal touch. Food is like a holiday, the best recomendation you can give is would you go go back again. My adult family and I certainly will. 1 word 'yummy'.

Further to my earlier review, i have since ordered most of the hot dinners. My best compliment i can give is i order a number of these hot dinners on a weekly / bi weekly basis. They are freshly made, the portions are very generous indeed and very very yummy. The service including delivery is second to none. Its like when you came home from school and your freshly made dinner was ready for you as soon as you came in. Only now it's when i come home from work. It's yummy, magic and different meal every day. Home from home freshly made cooked meals every day. Paid 26 euro for 2 breakfast rolls which all meats were so dry and tasteless and not to forget they forgot to give all drinks thankfully I am being refunded for the drinks. I would not eat breakfast here again unfortunately EDIT: In reply to the Igo Cafe - Hi there, yes I did pay 26 euro please don’t forget the man at the door that demanded 3.50 delivery and then we were told he had no change so in total delivery cost us 5 euro, why send a supposed delivery driver with no change? Is this some sort of tactic. Secondly, I was charged 5 euro also for the cans I never received. My overall experience was ruined due to not receiving the coke I was going to drink while I ate which I paid to drink. They did not arrive. I paid for the drinks to get them, not for the crack and for then to get refunded for them? Also why are you getting cashiers to ask for bank details such as IBAN over the phone? Inexperienced and...
