Popped in on new years bank holiday Monday, and just at same time as everyone wanting takeaway. Young one (Alexandra?) diligently took all our orders while the other staff member got to work on all the food requests. I sat down and was mesmerised at the excellent system they had in place, serving everyone without delays and even offering a little girl a replacement drink after she got a little too enthusiastic and it ended up spilt on the floor (quickly cleaned up too!) This is a regular place but it is just a normal bistro. The special thing about it is the staff. Food is ok but just lots of things that detract from it. Haven't been in about 10 months and since then the prices have gone up from 7.95 to 9.50 for breakfast. Menu prices not updated in 6 months. A sticker with ink on it. Lazy? Just a bit too steep. I miss this place so much... I was living in Goatstown for a few years and enjoyed breakfast at Cafe Divino every weekend. They have the best carrot cake I´ve ever tasted and amazing pancakes.
