Fellini's Pizza Pasta — Restaurant in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown

Ordered a takeaway about 5.30pm last Saturday, arrived about 7pm. The third party online system was very cumbersome, so after entering the same info a few times, I phoned in my ordee. The restaurant was really busy and I'm not sure how takeaways are sequenced. I phoned twice and what a polite patient person answered.

The pizza was finally delivered, again by a really polite person, maybe a waiter.

I quickly forgot about the wait when I saw the pizza, all fresh ingredients, prepared just for mine, not commercially prepared for the day. When I ordered I intended to half for the next day. Not a hope, it was so light and delicious I ate the lot. It even felt light in my tummy, not tjat stuffed feeling. Absolutely beautiful. I gave 4 stars, not 5 simply because I would have liked slightly more topping.

I highly recommend the place, food was delicious, certainly high end autentic, restaurant rather than takeaway quality, obvious as it's made in the same kitchen. Just time it better than I did. Ordered takeaway for a birthday and disappointed. How is this Italian food? Was expecting authentic Italian based on the reviews. Food was also expensive for what it was.

€7.50 for Bruschetta - 1 slice cut in half, cannot taste any garlic and not sure why there is lettuce. No seasoning. Packing the hot bread on the lettuce makes everything wilted.

Schnitzel - poorly butterflied chicken breast, over cooked, under seasoned. Was too thin too. Not sure why it was again placed on a bed of lettuce that was unappealing when lifting the chicken. It caused the crumbs to go soggy.

Insalata - not sure why Spanish olives were used.

Pasta - cooked nice but the sausage let the food down. It contained no fennel and was poor quality. sliced and not minced. Was pre cooked and then added to the pan all in one go.

Had an absolutely wonderful dining experience here. Have a great outdoor set up, lots of air flow but also kept warm.

Our waiter was phenomenal; passionate, helpful and very a accommodating. Created a wonderful atmosphere and brought their delicious wholesome food all together. Fish was very fresh, pizza dough clearly home crafted, sauces light yet rich in flavour. The chef literally created a vegan anti pasta from scratch just for one of our table. So if you’re a vegan and you don’t see a lot of options don’t be put off because they were so considerate and happy to offer choices.
