Apache Pizza Glasnevin — Restaurant in Dublin

Don't order here usually, but I got a large pizza with a free garlic shake and topped chips and a large pizza a few weeks before. I received a call from the store almost immediately after placing the order, saying they don't do chips. Hmm, okay, then why is it on the store's menu? So, I respond by saying can we get chicken wings, and the chap on the phone says they'll substitute a portion of wings. Grand; or so I thought.

I came to collect, and I'd come home and opened the boxes -- 4 WINGS! We got 4 wings as a substitute for topped chips that cost 4.50! Are you lads having an absolute laugh? What a scam! I also need to mention that these wings are scaldy, baby looking yokes, like the meat from a chihuahua's leg.

So, the wings were a fail. I moved on to the pizza, and it looked fine, but looks can be deceiving. Immediately upon taking a bite, my girlfriend said, "This pizza doesn't taste right." Stop moaning, I thought to myself; and then I took a bite, my god... this is the devil's pizza. The pizza befitting a criminal as the punishment of the highest order. That free garlic shake I put on for the craic? Don't do that, don't bloody do that. Your tongue will hate you. Now, I don't know if the employee didn't know the correct recipe measurements to use or if it is actually supposed to taste like... a vinegary, garlic-like, mushy overload; but I really hope it is the former. Seriously, it is like they used the entire bag of cloves PER slice. When I pulled-away the cheese, every inch of the pizza was topped with thick, garlic bits. Gross!

It was that bad that I can safely say it was the worst pizza I've ever tasted. We couldn't take more than a bite each. We threw it in the bin -- where it belongs!

Now, to be fair: I've had pizza from here before and it is what you expect: discount Dominos. But this... 'experience' was so horrifyingly bad, that I'd be wary ordering from here again.

Note to the manager that eventually reads this: you're probably sound, so I'll say this nicely: sort out your menu. You shouldn't have chips on it if you don't do them. You shouldn't half-ass substitutions, you either offer something of equivalent or higher value or remove the non-existent stock from your menu. You might respond saying it can't be done as all stores share the same database or whatever. I call BS on that; get someone to do it or get the stock. Simple.

I'm also going to wager that the pizza we got was made incorrectly. There is no way that it is supposed to taste like that. I never made a complaint because complaining about what food tastes like from a takeaway via phone is... snobby? So, I'd rather review it here instead, warning others to stay away from the garlic shake.

I'll probably give this place a few more stars at a later date when I've calmed down, but unfortunately, I'm still traumatized.

I always order out of here this is our take-away restaurant we order out of every Saturday for our movie night always nice but the past 2 times the pizza has been tasting different and we ordered tonight my pizza tasted way different there was loads of cheese covering the toppings as I was eating I ate some bacon there was also a lump of chicken and a lump of a chilli now I am vegetarian and I feel sick to my stomach after eating it I always order a vegetarian pizza I dont no how this happened but I'm very annoyed by it I dont think I'll order out of here again we wore a regular customer it's not the only thing that has happened every time we order The garlic sause dose be upside down and it bursts all over the place I never complain about it but tonight I had to complain after eating bacon and chicken as I said I'm vegetarian and felt sick...

I have always ordered my pizzas from your store, as it is so local and the pizza always arrives piping hot. Unfortunately the past 2 orders were luke warm. The order last week we ate as I had ordered sides too and they were hot. But yesterday I ordered and the delivery took much longer.
