Far East Restaurant — Restaurant in Dublin

Ordered food for family to the value of €50 for collection. When arrived home there was one meal missing , a basic chicken curry. Boiled rice ordered with the curry was received but main meal missing. Called restaurant to let them know that the curry was missing and could we go back to pick it up. Was shocked at the terrible customer service I received. Was treated like a liar and was quizzed multiple times about how many trays I received. Politely explained the chicken curry was not in bag and again asked could we go back to pick it up. Girl answering phone was polite but referred to manager who I could hear in background saying no. Told me chef said it was in bag so that was all they could do for me. Let them know that I was hardly trying to cheat them out of a curry and just wanted to get what I paid for and have dinner. The manager refused to get on phone ( apparently doesn’t speak good English and was also sick!) but in background told the girl on phone “it’s very busy and it’s not all about her”. Completely rude and disrespectful. I voiced my concern at the disgraceful customer service and was told I could have €5 off my next order. Then another person took over the phone and told me there’s nothing that could be done so get over it ! What a shameful experience , ruined a family meal and myself family and friends will no longer use this business. No good quality food can make up for the...

Absolutely shocking service. We’ve been getting our Chinese here the last 10 years and the service has just gotten awful recently. Two weeks in a row now I’ve ordered for collection and something has been forgotten from my order. Last week I placed an order for collection and once I got home I realised they forgot my chicken balls. I drove back down and it was a further 10 minutes before they were ready. The only person who seemed apologetic was a young man with blondish hair, no one else even acknowledged my annoyance. Tonight I ordered a yummy box for collection and I collected it and went home. Once I got home I opened it and they forgot my fried rice in it. I had to once again drive back down after ringing them about the issue. Awful service and food, ordered the salt chili salmon and had asked if it came with steamed veggies to which the waitress said yes- when served come to find it was deep fried salmon pieces (skin on!)slathered in raw onions and peppers- tried a bite and almost got sick, onions overpowered the flavor with the salmon absolutely dried out from deep frying in batter. Had one bite yet was charged €18.50 for a dish that I had been lied to about, offered a simple egg fried rice for free if I was to change the dish (to which I would also have to pay full price for) I’ve never seen salmon deep fried and I think majority of people would not assume it would be so.
