Lovely course close to Castleknock. Bunkers and water features are placed strategically so it forces you to really manage the course. Difficult to just go for the driver and hope for the best. A few times the iron was the best choice off the tee box. Second half seemed more forgiving. Only thing I didn’t like was that the road was an obstacle on a couple of holes and had to be factored in. Overall course felt less mature and not as sophisticated as Luttrellstown golf course next door. Some of the planted areas were struggling and some of the water features needed some TLC. Nice views of the mountains in the background. Friendly staff. Vue Bar had good fish and chips and a nice view. For some reason one couldn’t sit outside despite weather being nice.

I like this course alot it's got a couple of drivable par4's with a couple of just about reachable in two par5's, saying that the other's are beasts so a good mixture here. There's a score to be had here if you hit a bit of form, greens are always in good nick all year round so yeah would recommend a visit for sure, popular course with good food to be had after your round. This is my card for the days play which was my 1st of the season and hadn't played since Oct. I was really happy with the result as they where preparing the greens aerating and sanding which definitely inferred with my score but what you gonna do, only hoping I haven't peaked to early and its all down hill from here on in 🤣🤣.

Lovely Wedding. Beautiful drinks Reception in the garden. However 2 disappointing points. 1. Small bottle of Hino €5.95. 2. Very strange altogether, The reception area was full of people hanging around not wearing masks. When we were leaving at about 11 it was a free for all. There was a group of teenage girls very scantily clad milling around taking selfies & striking sexy poses. We averted out eyes. I'm not a prude but it looked odd. Like we had entered an episode of love Island 🏝 for young ones. We hurried out wondering where the parents were. Won't be in a hurry back.

was here for a golf outing recently, enjoyed the golf course as I have many times but unfortunately that's where it ended, firstly it is now a no cash business which presented a few problems and in the bar/ resturant it was mayhem, before we went out we had some food, orders were mixed up , one guy ordered a salad and it took over a hour to arrive, then there was a lot of mix ups with the bills, after the golf we had a meal , four of us at our table , one had fish that was physically burned, my burger was way over done and not good as was onother of our group and I can't remember what the fourth guy had but I think it was fish and chips which was overdone too, I must say this was not our previous experience eating here and we were very disappointed with the...

4.5 stars. We came to play a couple of rounds while on holiday. Despite the difficult weather we have had, the course was in perfect condition and was a pleasure to play on. We ate lunch in the clubhouse both days and dinner on the second - the food was lovely, staff very friendly and helpful. A special shout to the fellas who run the Pro Shop, as they allowed us to keep our golf bags in their storage room to save us having to book an XL taxi each time we were coming to the club. A few nitpicks - the very basic trolleys cost €5 each (we are used to seeing those for free unless they are electric) and some of the younger lads downstairs weren’t very friendly. Overall, a great...
