Hard to remain unbiased after the joke of the burger I have eaten today, but let's give it a go . Staff - friendly, attentive, all health standards kept in high standard. We were asked if our food is ok. The waiter was asked if that's really the burger I order and he confirmed, stating that in his opinion the design is wrong. I get a feeling he felt a bit ashamed he is serving a 'burger' for a €10 of such a tiny size. Place - just fabulous. It's this wonderful feeling when you get a themed place, in this case American diner and you get a feeling that you are actually in a different country. I love the aesthetics. As for the food - we ordered the new, supposedly exclusive burger. The spicy one and the M50. Well, sad to say, the M50 in diameter was like MCD cheeseburger. Initially I thought it was wrong order and kids version. No, it was not. The taste was ok, meat definitely on the plus side, but the rest of the burger definitely mediocre. The other burger was normal in size (not mini). The sides were ok, no complaints there. Overall, if you are in a mood for true burger (and I understand Eddie's is mainly a burger place) I would not recommend. Used to love this spot but it must have changed management recently. Got two burgers, 2 chips and a kids chips and nuggets with drinks. The chips were cold and soggy. I brought them back up to the counter and told the girl the issue. She proceeded to ask the chef to throw them back in the fryer to heat them up again. Feckin things were disgusting. Reheats we’d call them back in the day when ye got a bad bag of chips. Burgers are no longer anything to write home about, used to be fantastic. Its like theyve cut every possible corner. The drinks, no ice and no lids. This place used to stand out for great service and grub, Now its an abysmal attempt at take away. I can only imagine it is able to survive with the passing trade from the cinema nearby. Having given the place two previous chances because I really liked the place that much, I’m afraid this will be my last visit. Went to pay the bill and was charged €50. 12 months ago this was €38. Went on Tuesday for food with two kids and two adults. Chose the meal deal for it and when asked what drinks asked if the kids could get shakes, wait staff said yes and so ordered them. Came to pay and was told that it was 66 instead of 49.5(46 for the meal deal and 3.50 for sauces). Asked the wait staff how and she said that was the price, that the milkshakes werent included in the meal deal(that was never said when ordering, would have swapped). She then checked it and said the price was actually 55.5? Asked about the toys for the kids meal while paying and was told they never have them. I don't know why that or the fact the milkshakes don't count was never said to us while placing. Would have just got them actual meals or gone somewhere else if...
