Delish Cafe Castletroy — Restaurant in Limerick

Whilst I enjoy Delish Café when I sit in for lunch, unfortunately I cannot recommend their catering service. We got Delish Castletroy to cater an event in our company in August 2023 for 40 people. We ordered the rise and dine option and to say we were disappointed with what we received for €320, would be an understatement. Tea/Coffee (not enough cups or tea supplied for 40 people) and 2 small boxes of mini sausage rolls, jambons and veggie bites (even though we had requested the veggie bites to be substituted out for more sausage rolls and jambons, this did not happen). Each person might(!) have gotten one mini sausage roll and one jambon each. In our opinion, a cuppa and two small pieces of food for one person for €8 is not adequate nor value for money. We mentioned this to the employee who delivered the food on the morning and were told that they gave us extra tea to make up for it? We don't think that is good enough. We ended up having to go to a local deli to get more finger food to make up for...

10/10 Was in UL recently at a meeting and was recommended to try this place for lunch with a colleague. It’s rear these days to get an eatery that ticks all the boxes and I don’t normally ever write a review but felt that this place definitely deserves an accolade. From the moment that I entered the building I was welcomed with such a friendly face. The food we got lived up to the cafes name and the menu appeared to have such a choice I wanted to try a couple of things but settled on the prawn tacos and my colleague had some dish with halluomi which she was very impressed with. Service was fast and friendly and they know what they are doing at this place. It was a breath of fresh air , Limerick you are lucky to have such a decent high quality place, kudos to all involved here. Looking forward to...

Very disappointing!! Went for brunch travelled an hour to get there. When we arrived at brunch time they had run out of French toast ( main reason I went) so I asked could they do pancakes instead. I was given a kids portion of pancakes ( store bought at that) 10 minutes before my partners food came so by the time her food came my meal was gone. She got huevos rancheros which honestly was extremely poor. The coffee was good I will admit but the rest extremely poor. When it came to paying I said I would bring it to the attention of the staff member taking the payment. I wish I never did. Completely disregarded my feedback. Just overall disappointing. Such a shame, I work in hospitality and the service left a lot to be desired aswell...
