KFC Cork - East Gate Retail Park — Restaurant in Municipal District of Cobh

Just had a take away from here. Asked for two breasts of chicken and chips. Was expecting a two piece snack-box, got a small paper bag, checked the bag no chips, went back, got another bag and was charged another 2.70 on top of six Euro already paid. got home, no breasts, two really small pieces of ?, not sure what part of the chicken they came from. There was little or no flavor and rubbery texture and to add insult to injury there were only seven soggy cold chips in the second bag for which I was charged two Euro seventy. The place was filthy inside and out. there were chips and other foodstuff all over the place including the floor behind the counter. Staff could not understand what I was saying and did not seem to know what they were actually serving or indeed what was their product. They seemed to have a couldn't careless attitude. Having had KFC in many outlets in a few different countries I can honestly say that this one is the worst and does nothing for the KFC brand. Might even need a visit from the public health inspectors there seemed to be a lot of bad practices in relation to hygiene and food handling. would not recommend this place and will most certainly will not be going back. I have to give one star because it wont let post if I don't, just to confirm I am not giving any star as I have nothing good to say about...

Another disappointing visit to KFC. I've been here only twice since it opened quite a few years ago and there's a reason for that. So my latest experience: The 16 year old behind the counter did not known what the 'Zinger' was (how do I know he was 16? His workmate told me). Not his fault of couse, it's his managers fault. HELLO - Training?? Then the nice girl put fries on my tray which I had not asked for, she told me the meal was the same price with our without fries - HELLO - Obesity?? Once I got to my table I realized they had given me the wrong meal. I didn't ask to change it as I didn't want to waste it. The limpest fries I ever tasted, and a flat Pepsi Max. The chicken (zinger, I think) did taste good however. KFC are still completely anti - environment. On my tray was two plastic bags containing a paper napkin AND a completely unnecessary wet wipe in a foil package. They also have plastic straws - as many as you would like to take on the counters. HELLO - oceans of plastic ??? They should have a policy of customers having to request a straw, like they have to request the ketchup/mayo. Why did, I go there? I have eaten chicken fillet burgers in kfc for around 35 years in various countries and this ranks worst ,coincidence may have it that this outlet was the dirtiest with the outside a disgrace to any employee working there this evening .The Fillet burgers were a shambles ,three of us ordered them and what we got resembled a small boneless fillet in a very large stale bun with very little mayo or lettuce.Chips were vile and the staff member that took our order couldn't understand us and we couldn't understand her.The blonde manageress was extremely frosty and rude and we chose to eat outside.All the tables were greasy and dirty,rubbish was everywhere and around 30 crows were feeding on everything leftover by customers and that was alot.We were 25 mins outside and not one staff member chose to wipe down tables or empty rubbish. Outdoors didn't seem to exist to them at all.A total kip and wouldn't let my dog dine there.Anouther customer also said to us outside that the place has been left go to the dogs .Avoid it like the plague,won't go near it ever again .Bad value for money when they have the cheek to give what they did today.Look at...
