Broadway Pub & Restaurant — Restaurant in South Dublin

My partner and I had dinner here around 6 and loved every bit of it. The staff were lovely — especially Rebecca and Valeria, who were warm, welcoming, and really looked after us. Even the barman, Nuto, was a friendly presence throughout the evening. The décor is gorgeous, from the booths and mirrors to the floral wall and neon “meet me at Broadway” sign. There's a great view of the kitchen too, which I really enjoyed seeing, especially as someone who works in a kitchen (very different setting, but still appreciate a well-run pass!).

We started with the honey buffalo wings, a great balance of flavour and plenty of meat on them. I had the salmon in smoked butter cream sauce with mussels, mash, and tenderstem broccoli, flaky, rich, and beautifully done. Robert had the beef ragu with pappardelle, the meat was unbelievably tender and packed with flavour.

We shared two desserts: sticky toffee pudding and salted caramel donuts, both excellent, but the donuts were honestly unreal. Can’t wait to go back.

Update review; We came back again today and I had the steak frites — cooked rare and absolutely perfect. Loads of flavour, tender meat, and beautifully done on the Josper grill. The peppercorn sauce was a standout: rich, silky, and with a subtle sweetness (maybe honey?) that lifted the whole dish. Myself and my partner visited Broadway for the first time last night for a little date night 😊 we booked our table for 7pm but decided to head down earlier for a drink before dinner. The welcome when we arrived was friendly and easy. We ended up eating before 7pm and this was no problem at all. For starters we had the calamari and arancini, both were delicious and perfect starter size! For dinner I had the salmon which was enjoyable and my partner had the beef ragu which was really delicious. We shared the meringue for desert, really light and delicious. The staff throughout the night were all friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We enjoyed some drinks, the cocktails were fab and the Guinness was good according to my partner 😊 The manager came over to check on us at one stage, very friendly and professional. Vibrant modern style restaurant and surounds just makes you feel welcome.

I've had a look at drinks meniu and coctails that were re-invented will definetly bring me back.

Staff were true professionals, as one thing I don't really like personaly is when someone aproaches and asks 'is everything ok?' when in a mean time I'm 'diggin into my meal' - throws me off as I wasn't raised to talk with my mouth full. Luckily it wasn't like that this time and it just made my experience amazing.

Food was top notch and everyone will find something to try, I believe.

I've visited a place where this restaurant is located now and it was a shock to see such a huge change. I mean such a huge GREAT change as it does look and feel like luxurious modern dining restaurant.

New ownership or even if you're renting a place for this restaurant let me just tell you that you're on a right path!
