We drove over 20 km for breakfast, drawn in by the promising 4.6-star rating and high expectations. Overall, the experience was okay, but the food didn’t quite live up to what we had hoped for. There weren’t many vegetarian options, so we went with the French toast with berries and the cinnamon-topped pancakes. The French toast was decent, I’d rate it 4/5. However, the pancakes were quite disappointing, dry with a not very good dough, definitely a 1/5. We left most of it. The coffee was also below average. On the bright side, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely, with charming indoor and outdoor seating options.

Hands down the best breakfast and brunch in Dublin, especially for vegetarians. The protein pancakes are like nothing else, served with fresh fruit, maple syrup, and edible flowers; it's wholesome and delicious. The vegetarian breakfast consisting of wilted spinach, Haloum, poached eggs, farmhouse bread, mushrooms, and roasted cherry tomatoes is full of natural flavours that complement each other very well. This is almost a weekly destination for us, and it's never failed to elevate our spirits. The tremendously good food combined with a welcoming, warm, and superbly competent wait staff is a winning combination.

Have eaten here twice in the last month. Both times left hungry and disappointed. The superfood salad lacked flavour and I was genuinely starving after leaving and spending 16 euros having added on the salmon. I also had the spicy wrap at my other visit, the chicken inside of it was only warm and the rest of the wrap was hot so I was freaked out but after waiting a long time for service I was starving…the prices have gone up but quality has genuinely not improved. Sad because I love to support local businesses and it’s a really nice atmosphere for a catch up and a nice coffee :( beautiful restaurant

2023- Beautiful breakfast , staff isn't the friendliest but it's better to sit in as the presentation and food is better than takeaway just as a heads up.

2024- came to the reopening on the first day and they messed up the order giving us battered chicken when we asked for grilled so they gave the GF bread we asked for but breaded the chicken? They have no logic or sense on top of being extremely rude 😂 We also got the chicken and waffles which was disgusting. The chicken was the thinnest cut of chicken I have ever seen and after it was cooked in batter it was cremated and as hard as the plate . It tasted like water so I tried to put salt on it but both shakers had pepper in them and were full to the brim so now my food was full of pepper , cremated and just needed some salt or something 😭 . I asked for some maple syrup and the girl had no English and said no we don’t have some what is maple syrup and I said that its the syrup or sauce on it at the minute to which she replied I don’t know i have to ask the chef and she just came back with a huge container of a drop of honey 😂😂😂 we paid for it and got it takeaway as we don’t like making a fuss but honestly...

We were there on Sunday. Ordered our food which was nice, but noted that we were missing the eggs from the vegetarian breakfast. Said it to a staff member who disappeared inside saying she would sort it but we did not see her again until we went to pay. After 10 minutes, I went inside to say it again as we were nearly finished our food by this point. This staff member got the eggs within 5 minutes but we were basically done our food by then so we were disappointed that 1) an item was missing and 2) we had to say it to 2 staff members and it took 15 minutes to get solved (we could hear other tables also mention items missing, such as pancakes and chips). Then we went to pay for our table. We were asked how things were and we mentioned the missing eggs and effectively got "oh that's a shame, but you did get them in the end?" Then we paid and decided to print the receipt and a whole other meal was added to our bill. Admittedly I should have noticed the price jump but I was tired. The woman who had been working on the coffees was very quick to solve this issue but overall a...

Came for brunch today as a nice treat. We overheard that there was a slight delay on orders which we assumed was an extra 10/15 mins. We ordered and got our drinks. Fast forward 1 hour and 50 minutes later we got our food. I had actually asked for our order to be cancelled but I was told it would only be a couple of minutes so we decided to wait as we were so hungry. Order came out wrong so then had to wait again for the correct bits to be brought down. My rashers looked like they had been boiled and they were watery and the mango on my plate looked like it had been chewed up already. Partners burrito was just warm. Definitely not worth €40 for two drinks and two dishes. No compensation offered and not even a “sorry about that” from the girl who took payment. Our table server was lovely and I could tell she was so stressed and obviously not her fault. Could see and hear a lot of angry customers today. Maybe better management needed in place as a result of the kingswood location being closed. Avoid if you want to wait 2 hours and be €€€...
