Review removed for hate speech. Not sure what part was hate speech so tweaked any remotely offensive language cheers!

Unfortunately the reviews are correct. Terrible atmosphere in here Server a tad rude on arrival. Menus dumped on table, no offer of drinks. Drinks ordered eventually along with food. Order wrong. Server disappeared. Food ordered and eventually it arrived. Food good in fairness. Although chips portions were tiny. Guinness is awful and over priced for the part of Dublin it's in Again a struggle to get a drink. Servers seemed preoccupied with table arrangements. Asked for bill as we'd had enough time wasting. Bill arrived, server legs it again. 20 minutes later, after being ignored at the bar, I got a girl to help. She seemed annoyed with us for some reason. Toilets are a disgrace. Lighting is way too bright for a pub. On leaving I said goodbye to our server. I may as well have not been there. As the door closed I heard her barking at a couple for attempting to fill our vacant table. We laughed and vowed never return. Oh yeah, we were charged two 95 cent extras for Jalapenos we didn't ask for. Unreal. Very expensive meal, and felt a little cheated. Locals seem to be welcome in here....

Waiting 2 hours for a couple of dinners - understand it was busy but not even an apolagie for delay etc. The server never checked on the table once, never gave bills out to the certain people who ate, nor asked a question how these people would be paying. went home as her shift ended ( fair enough ) but probably should have communicated with the other servers or with the customers and asked how this bill would be paid instead of persuming one person would be paying as a bill was going around the room at 12 Oclock when majority of her customers who ate were gone. Bare in mind they ordered food before 7pm food came at 8.55pm and bill came at 12am.

The new server who gave the bill then said shes not going around the room to find out who ate so i had to do it for her? Disgraceful carryon. From experience and working in this industry for many years the most important thing about the job is communicating with customers & especially staff otherwise things get messy and this was totally upto your staff not...

THIS PUBLIC HOUSE IS ONE OF MY LOCALS. ONE OF THE REASONS WHY I LIKE TO GO TO IT IS THAT THERE IS A GREAT MIXTURE IN THE PUNTERS THAT FREQUENT IT. YOUNG GUYS AND GIRLS WATCHING THEIR ENGLISH SOCCER TEAMS PLAY CHAMPION SHIP MATCHED, OLD DARBY AND JONES TYPE OF COUPLES GROUPS OF NEIGHBOUR.S ETC. THE PINT OF ARTHURS WHITE STUFF IS GOOD. BECAUSE THIS PUB STANDS ( I THINK ) IN THE PARISH OF PERRYSTOWN THE PRICE OF DRINKS IS LESS EXSPENSIVE THAN NEARBY TEMPLEOGUE. THE STAFF COULD BE MISTAKEN TO BE ON SKATES BCOS THEY ARE SO FAST IN SERVING PPUNDITSUNDITS. APART FROM DRINKING HERE THERE IS A FAB. BAR MENU GOOD CHOICE OF DISHHES. THERE IS A GOOD VIBEABOUT THE PLACE. I LIKE TO GO-TO THE LAURELS WHEN MY TEAM LIVERPOOL...

We loved our visit here. The place is really lovely with loads of different seating sections to choose from. Each section has its own style of decor too. The food is top-notch. Really generous portions. You certainly won't be hungry after eating here! I had the starter size of nachos and they were so tasty. I will definitely be heading back to get these again. Other reviews have mentioned slow service etc but that was certainly not our experience. The food and drinks were brought out really quickly. All the staff that we encountered gave us a cheerful greeting and were very friendly and helpful.

Wow, what a job done here. The last time I was in The Laurels was 10 years ago. What a transformation, today its the ultimate gastro pub with an amazing menu. A local with a cool city centre feel however much warmer than most city centre venues. Run by Noel and his son Tommy, who has taken the venue in a modern direction whilst managing to keep the "local" appeal for all. A destination that is well worth a visit

Lovely food, however €28.95 for a piece of salmon with potato and veg,.. it's pub grub. That was supposed to be "the special". €1.20 for a small water with a "dash" of cordial. Should be free considering it was €9 for 4 tiny scoops of ice cream with... nothing. No wafers or sauce. Could do better!
