Riina's — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Dundalk

The lady manager was very unpleasant, the staff were just OK, but unattentive. I asked for a table for two, I got one and asked my girlfriend to sit down while I get cash, because you can only pay cash in a restaurant, in these times... While I was away the lady in charge had an encounter with my girlfriend, where in a very unpleasant manner she was surprised and wanted an explanation for what she was doing sitting there. After getting an explanation that I have talked here, she grunted that you have to wait to be seated and moved her to another table and walked away. All this after the girl I talked to about the table allowed me to choose any of the three free tables all beside each other and take a seat... Even if it was a misunderstanding, a bit of professionalism, if situations like this annoy her enough to show her frustration at a client, then she should think about changing her line of work. We did end up having food and coffee anyway, as didn't have much time on our hands to change places. Payment was demanded before food arrived? It's a pity because the pizza was very nice. Not...

I’ll start off by saying the food here is tasty. The pizza was very flavourful. However, due to the abismal service I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

We stopped by here around 6:30pm on Saturday night to order take away. We placed our order and we’re literally told “that will just be a few seconds”. We ended up waiting over an hour and a half for our food. The girl at the door was getting visibly annoyed that we were waiting for our food outside the restaurant and kept telling us to go for a walk. We asked a few times for another indication on the time and were just told they had no idea when we’d get our food. After our wait of an hour and a half, we got the food and went home. When we arrived back at the house we were missing entire dishes.

I don’t see how anyone can run a restaurant like this. They only accept cash and also couldn’t tell us how much our food cost and ended up just giving us a random rounded number. The experience was just all around bad from start to finish. There are so many better options...

Only giving this place 2 stars as the food was lovely. We arrived at 730 only to see a big "no children allowed" sign on the door. I asked what is their definition of a child to be told 18. If it is to do with a vaccination or lack there of with the kids then a quick observation would be that none of the serving team were vaccinated either. Yes I know I have no proof of same. Server said rudely that it was their right to choose this and it was adults only!!! We had our order in for 735 only to be told it was cash only...went back two mins later to be told the order could not be found, then found it & price had gone up 5euro... take away order ready 1 ...
