The Vault Cafe — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Dungarvan — Lismore

I went to this cafe with my girlfriend today and we asked to sit indoors. We are both vaccinated but we were not even asked for our vaccine passes which we found concerning, they were not even busy so we could not understand why they didn't ask, surely this is a breach of restrictions. My girlfriend is coeliac and asked for a gluten free toasted special. The menu said it is served with side salad and crisps. When she ordered, the waitress asked did she want salad and crisps with the sandwich. She said yes and asked are the crisps gluten-free and the waitress said no. So obviously she said no I don't want crisps then as I am coeliac. We both found it odd that the waitress didn't advise initially that the crisps were not gluten free, the fact that my girlfriend had to actually ask was odd and not the usual standard of restaurants we are used to. Was not happywith this service at all. You seriously need to look at your policy on dietary requirements and realise the importance of serving people things which won't make them sick. My girlfriend could have eaten non GF crisps if she had not asked which is...

Master mini-breakfast Cafe next to AIB, parking can be tight in Lismore in general unless you park out along the street or in the nearby playground car park. Nice little cafe, about a dozen or so tables. We got a mini-breakfast. Nothing mini about it. It was as substantial as the full Irish in other places. Went for lunch at 1, wasvgreated by a lovely waitress to be told that a few items are not available from the menu. We ordered 2 baked potatoes , she went to check how many baked potatoes where left and returned to say that the are in the over and would take about 20 mins. We ordered something else. It took about 45 mins for our lunch to arrive. During our wait several customers where turned away as they where told the kitchen is closed....
