Camile Greystones — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Greystones

Just wanted to update the below. We recently decided to try here again and it is all positive. The food is just delicious. There is no denying it. Tasty delicious healthy food. I'm very happy that I gave it another shot. Thanks to all the staff here. I ordered from here via just eat for take away. It is quite expensive. But there was a 20% off offer. So the bill which came to over 40 euro was about 34 euro. Expensive for dinner for 2 but i was expecting greatness. I had put into the app for delivery at 730pm but the food arrived at 6.45. This may have been just missed and not a big deal really. I put the entire bag into the oven to keep warm until 730 when my partner was home from work. At 730 i opened it and started to plate it. And i noticed there was no rice for our main. I rang the restaurant and they did apologise and said they would send the 2 rice out to us. We assumed it would be fast so we ate our starters which were nice especially chicken wings. Spicy like fire lol. Unfortunately the rice didn't arrive until over half hour later. But when we did finally eat our meal it was delicious. And really too much for 2 people. One main with rice was really enough for us both. First time eating here and sorry to say I was very disappointed we stood downstairs for 20 min before we had to go and ask someone were our booked table was when we did get noticed we got what I thought was a very rude comment of “ohh you guys are very dressed up you will be sitting up stairs not outside”.Is there a dressed code ? When we did get to our table we felt rushed also anything that we ordered drinks wise was wrong and we had to keep repeating ourselves . The food came very fast which was a bonus when we got to order and was quite nice. We finally got the the bill and was left waiting another 20 min before we could get the attention of the waiting staff To pay so we had to get up and bring it to them , there was no thank you enjoy your night see you again from the staff they just took the money and walked away . 3 stars for the food alone. Food was AMAZING and hats off to the chef, very good value for money and quick to the table which was great. HOWEVER, I was very taken aback by the waiting staff and unprofessional. We had a table booked and were left standing for 20 minutes without as much as a hello from any staff. When we finally were acknowledged, we were greeted with a snotty comment of “ooh you look way too dressed up” which immediately made us feel out of place and awkward. When we finally did get our table, we had ordered some drinks and were dissapointed with 3 plastic bottles of coke and no glasses and no ice... we had to ask 2 times for this. My friends drink ordered had to be given to her 3 times, each time the wrong wine! She had no cutlery and when it was given to her, it was dunked directly into her meal... When asked for the bill, we had to ask twice and wait 20 minutes for them to come back and they didn’t return with the change. Again, great food but...
