MJ's Diner — Restaurant in Tralee Municipal District

Today was my first time at MJ'S. I ordered a burger and homemade fries and curry sauce. I ordered food on the spot. After ordering, I sat down at the table to wait for the food. In the meantime, cleaning started around me (I was an hour before the restaurant closed). They started vacuuming (a great feeling and smell when the vent is pointing in your direction). Imagine my surprise when I got the food packed in a bag. When choosing the bag, I said that I ordered on the spot, but after they started cleaning the restaurant, I didn't feel like eating on the spot. I decided that I would eat in my car, parked near the restaurant (I must point out that I hate it and usually don't eat in my car), and here again, surprise, because in the bag, apart from the food, there was no salt, tissues or fork. As for the food, I liked the burger and I think it would be even better if I didn't eat it in the car. The fries were ok, but not my cup of tea. The curry sauce was ok, but I prefer it a bit more runny. This one was too thick for me. Much too thick. I doubt I'll go back there because I didn't feel well...

As a rule great food fast service great staff ..popped in Sunday for a quick bite to eat .not busy so I was lucky ordered my food 45 mins later still no food and went to counter ..asked girl if my order way there and she told me she would be down in a min ..I could see my lunch under hot lamp on kitchen counter .how long was it there ?? Got lunch 10 mins later ...staff on this Sunday afternoon was brutal. Sorry but had to review this as it is never like this...

Went here during the summer. Got the chicken curry with a vanilla milkshake. You would think that a place that has the aesthetic of a fast food restaurant (albeit a very visually appealing one) would have mediocre food. Wrong. The chicken curry was, in fact, the best I've ever tasted! It was a fountain oozing with a perpetual supply of flavour! The milkshake was also to DIE for! It was that good!

If I ever find myself back in Tralee again, MJ's is the first...
