The Cheese Shop — Restaurant in Tralee Municipal District

Well cheese loves - there is such a thing as cheese heaven after all 🥰 The is a niche shop with amazing atmosphere and originality. The food selection isn’t overwhelming but amazing. A simple selection of tantalising tasty foods available to eat in or take away as well as cakes and desserts. Now for the cheeses - well artisan and sublime would describe the cheese on offer - not only indulging in lunch a selection of cheese was purchased to later with a wee dram. Something I learnt on this visit - free parking- simply dive up to the barriers located at the left of the shop and obtain a code from the shop to exit . Magnificent find. Home made Vegan and gluten free salads galore. Baked ricotta, hummus, salads and home made pesto. Tasty options beautiful presentation. Try the flatbread. Coffee is superb. Interesting and delish Gluten free desert options available. Limited parking But worth the visit. Small upstairs group seating in quaint setting. Tapande, olives, artichoke hearts and an excellent variety of cheeses. Visit once and you will return. Music is an added bonus... Since covid... Good...

A great Cheesemongers with a good selection of top quality irish and European cheese. Samples were offered of everything I wanted to try and the lady who owns it is full of knowledge. These gems of independent owned business's are few are far between so it was a delight to find.
