During our travels around Ireland, we've been treated to some terrific pub meals. This was no exception, and good value-for-money too. What made this experience memorable, though, was the genuinely friendly service, and not just from our lovely waitress. Shortly after sitting down, we received a warm welcoming handshake from John, the owner. John popped back a few times to say hello and left us to enjoy our meals. The food here is unbelievable, always tasty and large portions with a huge menu of options and the prices are excellent value. Big screens available for the footy and horse racing and to top it off they do a mighty pint. You always feel at home here. Can't recommend the Greyhound bar highly enough. Don't be surprised if you find All Ireland football medals in your change here as they are very plentiful...
