During our travels around Ireland, we've been treated to some terrific pub meals. This was no exception, and good value-for-money too. What made this experience memorable, though, was the genuinely friendly service, and not just from our lovely waitress. Shortly after sitting down, we received a warm welcoming handshake from John, the owner. John popped back a few times to say hello and left us to enjoy our meals. This was not your typical "is everything ok with your meals?". We left feeling full and like one of the locals. Thanks to John and his freindly team for our hearty meals and lovely service. Ps. If you're a chocoholic like me, leave just enough room for the chocolate brownie (steamed pudding).

Nicest people you could ever meet mags and the staff are always in top form. Aidan the owner is a gentleman and always likes to greet and chat with his customers. The food here is unbelievable, always tasty and large portions with a huge menu of options and the prices are excellent value. Big screens available for the footy and horse racing and to top it off they do a mighty pint. You always feel at home here. Can't recommend the Greyhound bar highly enough. Don't be surprised if you find All Ireland football medals in your change here as they are very plentiful around the rock.

This place is fantastic the newly renovated stables at the extension is outstanding. Went to see David Kitt. The music dancing was an experience. They had another local artist in the front bar. Very entertaining. Overall great night. The exterior of the bar is unassuming interior new bright rustic. Great...
