Best coffee in the area (I'd say possibly in all of West Cork) and very good service. Have been several times in the last year and quality is always amazing. The flavour, texture and even latte art are of the highest standards. The cookies (Biscoff cookies are incredible) and black pudding sausage rolls are also delicious. The only "con" would be it's not easily accesible if on a wheel chair or with a baby pram since the whole place is a bit narrow and sometimes it can also get quite busy. This stopped us from going recently since we were with a friend on a mobility scooter.

Cute and quaint on the outside, serious about quality coffee on the inside, O'Neill's is a delight. Friendly, helpful staff will give you lowdown on the best gigs and happening around town, and you can stock up on quality coffee beans, Aeropress, Chemex, or Clever Drippers, and lovely little gifts like local dried flowers and pottery. They have a great espresso machine and make a killer oat milk flat white. Make sure you leave a tip!

oh well.. what can i say? the most delicious cakes and brewed coffee in skibbereen that comes to my mind<3 the interior itself is incredibly cozy and atmospheric, makes the coffee drinking experience even better. staff is very polite and well mannered too, i do recommend:) ps: as a bonus, the cafe sells paintings of local artists, so you get a feeling as if you're in real art gallery!

Excellent coffee in a cosy cafe, with a literally stripped back feel - the furniture is recycled 70s finest, and the layers of paint on the wall is based and polished to a fascinating patina of past colours. Lovely selection of small cakes, and their cortado is a great example of how to do a decent espresso based coffee - richly roasted but not bitter. The interior is quite narrow, and might pose problems for prams and wheelchairs. We brought our young kids in on a busy day, and the staff were very nice about that, but I'd recommend trying to visit at quieter times...

I simply adore this café. A true gem. The coffee is beyond anything I've ever tasted (the Brazilian blend has such rich chocolate and toffee undertones), the pastries melt in the mouth and the staff are so lovely and knowledgeable. There is nothing better than curling up with a book on an armchair in the back nook, sipping on a frothy cappuccino and pondering how fortunate you are to have come across such a treasure of a...
