From start to finish my experience was great!
I have visited the IoM a few times for work and again am here for the same reason. I decided to try this place out and can absolutely say I was not disappointed. It started with a lovely warm welcome and continued with the delightful service throughout. I had the pleasure of being served by Raj who took the time to run through their specials and more, on this occasion it was a Nihari lamb shank. Without writing an essay I can say his service was so warm and welcoming and as I was dining alone it really put me at ease, what else can I say! (Outside of Rajs service all others were kind polite and attentive, you wouldnt be waiting long for someones attention if you needed it - which is how I got Rajs name from a very polite and curteous blonde lady).
The food was packed with lovely flavour and carried a gradual and enjoyable heat... I would have taken a picture but I was clearly too busy eating!
I have no doubt I will come back and if you find yourself reading this review...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at Aura Bar and Bistro during my recent stay at Isle of Man, and it was a highlight of my trip. The experience was elevated by the exceptional service provided by the owner, Rajesh, I went to Aura three days straight for my dinner.
Rajesh's commitment to guest satisfaction was evident from the moment I arrived. He took the time to engage with me personally, ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was tailored to my preferences. His attention to detail and genuine interest in creating a memorable experience made a significant impact.
The menu at Aura Bar and Bistro offered a diverse selection, and Rajesh's recommendations were spot on. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal or a casual drink. Rajesh's personal touch and dedication to quality truly set this place apart.
If you’re looking for a dining spot with outstanding service and a personal touch, Aura Bar and Bistro is a must-visit. Highly...
Read moreOne of the best Indian food, if not THE best. I have visited multiple cities and places but this one is surly one of the best in multiple aspects. Authentic Indian food (not Bangladeshi flavours).. super friendly and helpful servicing staff, good location, and over all good seating area. They were really nice and accommodated out small out of menu request where possible. Very attentive staff and service. They have one of the best chefs in the UK. Sad I couldn’t see the person behind the tasty food :(
I highly recommend Malai kofta and mango lassi.
Only one thing that comes to my mind where they can improve: starter portions are small and I thought it could have been a little larger. Garlic naan can be a little better.
A little higher on the price but it is expected, considering the location and tourist oriented business. Should cost roughly £25 per person. Overall I couldn’t recommend this place more. If I come to the isle again, this is a must visit...
