Looked online while in hotel opul for food at 8pm as just finished site work. Located it and was warmly welcomed . Naturally they wanted sit us in the window to look busier . But i wanted a larger table out the way . The staff were very accommodating thank you. I asked the waiter who claimed to be the owner . What he recommended . He gave us lamb masala . And we had a queeney scallop starter . WOW . What flavours in both dishes. The started i could lick the plate . The curry …. Never had a curry like that . Best masala ive ever had. I said pls pass on our thanks to the chef . Who was an old school elderly chef. He made our dishes with such flavour and spice. Very tasty and rememberable meal. Beer was right price. Wine was very expensive . And i drink a lot good wine. But i expect it’s inline with local prices. Food was priced good and portions were just right . We joked about the chappatti 1.99 for a spoon of flour and oil on a hot pan. When a full naan was 4-5 pounds . It made no sense. I love chappatti . I think it’s under rated and not pushed in public tasting enough . I’d rather of paid 25 quid for my curry not 20 and had a bowl full free chappatti to mop up that curry sauce.
I look forward to returning there and eating again.
One last thing . Shared toilets . Yes ok but they need a hourly mop and clean . Even at 8pm on a wed night . So close to closing time at 10pm. Toilet impressions speak volumes to a customer no matter the time of day or how busy you are. They were ok but not 100% . Especially for shared toilets . Just a small pointer because id like see u succeed there. That food and service was great ....

Naadu Restaurant is an absolute gem — a true fine-dining experience that beautifully showcases the best of Indian cuisine. The food is nothing short of exquisite, with rich, authentic flavours presented with modern elegance. The Chicken Payoli is an absolute must-try — incredibly creamy, perfectly spiced, and served in generous portions that leave you more than satisfied.
The cocktail menu is creative and well-balanced, and the wine selection complements the dishes perfectly. The atmosphere feels both luxurious and welcoming, making it ideal for any occasion.
What truly makes Naadu stand out, though, is the staff — every single person is warm, attentive, and genuinely lovely. They make you feel at home while still maintaining that high-end dining standard.
If you’re looking for Indian food that’s posh, delicious, and unforgettable, Naadu is the place to go. Highly...
Read moreThis place gets very busy & there's a reason for that, we visited early Wednesday evening & by 6pm it was beginning to fill up. (so get there early) The food here is excellent, we are lucky in that we live close to a 5 star Indian restuarant at home, but the Naadu is definitley on a par. OK, its different than we're used to, but the flavours & presentation were excellent! The staff were very helpful & friendly too. Its really difficult to find fault here, the restaurant is clean, very tastfully decorated, warm, comfortable and has a lovely atmosphere. Observations? No draught beers? The establishment also seats quite a lot, but I noticed there are only two single toilets (one of which is disabled) the other is multi-sex? On busy nights this isn't the best arrangement & so I can only hope this is closely monitored by the management. Other than that, this place is well worth a visit! Highly...
