Great modern restaurant with welcoming staff. Steak cooked to perfection, medium. The garlic and parmesan special fries...meh, nice but a bit soggy The Gnocchi and braised beef went down very well too 3 meals, The Manx Steak with scallops and I think truffle - £34, with 'specialty' fries - £1.75. A Sausage and pancetta Gnocchi - £16.50 Braised Beef mashed potatoes £22.75. 1 coke, 1 shandy 1 fresh orange came to £85.

Had a meal here during the TT fortnight. They were open late which was a great help as the racing was delayed. A warm welcome awaited us. The food was wholesome and portions were large. We were stuffed when we left. I had the chorizo and port linguine. The garlic bread pizza is truly a gem, worth having on the side. My only gripe was the meatballs were on the dryer side. Otherwise a good meal.

Wonderful food, the fig bruschetta was out of this world. We could eat that forever. The Italian steak and chicken risotto were also lovely, thought I could have done without the whole peppercorns, not really nice biting into those. Quite a few big tables so I imagine the place will be great for groups. The only warning is that the restaurant is up a flight of stairs as are the toilets.

Went today and the old woman with the Mohawk forgot to take my order after taking the rest of the table, she didn’t Evan come back to the table I had to shout my order to her . Then the food a hour to come out and it was mostly pizza . Then it was wrong Evan the sauce as a side wasn’t what I ordered I then said about it and I got met with the waitress saying ‘Jesus Christ ‘ because I had already sent the dip back and now was sending the food back they did offer to remake the pizza but I decided against it as I didn’t want to wait that long while everyone else ate as it probably would of just come out as everyone finished. I then over heard the old lady with the Mohawk giving the young girls a telling off and telling them how to take orders and just being down right horrible to them when it was her that took the order wrong. The food was pretty awful for how expensive it is as well the rest of the table said

So in short avoid the place in general but most defiantly the Mohawk lady avoid her at all costs

You will get mediocre food and terrible customer service...

When we asked if the cod was fresh, the waiter said “very fresh”, when asked when it was delivered, he replied “yesterday”. I questioned this as yesterday was Sunday. He laughed and said “you know!” We did not order the cod! The halloumi starter was like fried rubber. Served with soggy gone off lettuce. The calamari and prawn “special” was cold and soft. Obviously defrosted in the microwave. The Prawn main (the name escapes me) was inedible, prawns were disgusting. The pasta bolognese sauce was sweet, it was inedible. The pizza that we ordered when we sent all of the rest back had soggy jarred olives and a soggy base. Again, we couldn’t eat it. The service was so underwhelming and the staff were extremely surly. We got a bill for £71.00 when all we actually consumed were 2 mocktails and a bottle of wine! We...

1st time visitors and we will come back. Food was generally good and looking at plates around me appreciated by customers. I think I would come back for Pizza the quality and value for money looked excellent. The a la carte dishes which we had were quite expensive and the complex preparation did not quite achieve its goal which when baking Fish is not easy. They were over cooked. Service was good and friendly, the atmosphere was spoilt by a single table of over exuberant diners, who eventually left. Nice family scenes and celebrations going on. We ate on a Sunday evening it was quite busy. We reserved but not sure it was the way people normally come to the restaurant, a lot...
