Two of my friends, my partner and I were looking for a place to have afternoon tea at “Tea Junction” at 2:30 in the afternoon. Obviously as the name of the business suggests, I chose to book there instead to other places. When we ordered, we were informed by a staff member that we need to book a Tea afternoon 24hrs in advance . We then ordered a range of sandwiches which came within five minutes. We are still at a loss why sandwiches could not have been made as part of the tea option as the cakes were in stock already.

If you are looking for a place to have a casual afternoon tea, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The staff were efficient however although the menu did not state the 24 hours in advance rule, they decided to...

A friend took us here for the first time and we really enjoyed it so have come back about 3 times and it is a firm favourite with us for a treat. What we love about it is the quality of the service, William for example told us about taste which was interesting and something we didn't know. We love the fact that the music is background music not blaring out so you can't hear yourself think. It is also is very clean. The quality of the food & tea, speak for themself. Everyone we speak to about it have nothing but praise and so we are just adding our voice to that loud chorus - Best tea room on the island bar...

Note that if you would like afternoon tea, you have to book in advance. We were turned away from afternoon tea but told we could sit in and order off the menu. We ended up getting a variety of paninis and sandwiches which were delicious. The staff were very nice, though we did end up with our teas switched but I think they were just having a confusing day with their ticket system. Their selection of teas is phenomenal. I recommend the lapsang souchong and the bacon, brie and cranberry panini.

Thank you for a wonderful experience, the only thing I ask is to tell people to book afternoon tea on...

Fascinating tea specialist cafe. Great selection of loose leaf teas which are brought to your table in a wooden chest of test tubes)with tea descriptions) for you to sniff the aromas before making your choice. Staff are very knowledgeable about the teas and are happy to answer your questions. A brilliant idea has turned a quick cuppa into a tea ceremony.

Nice place to sit outside, but the view is not so great. I ordered a tumeric latte, and I spilled some on my shirt. It was impossible to get the yellow out of my shirt so I had to throw it away. The panini was nice. I wouldn't really recommend going here, it's nice but not so special.

Lovely afternoon tea with a small selection of tiny sandwiches (really tasty ones), 4 miniature quiches, fancy cakes, scones with jam and cream and other sweet bits. Great friendly service, huge selection of tea, really tasty selection of gins too.
