A disappointing lunch, I noted a heavy reliance on bought in items such as chicken goujons.The bright orange bread crumbs and regular shapes gives it away every time. They wanted to charge us an extra 2 pounds for some chorizo on my chicken sandwich, despite the fact there was a panini on the specials board containing chicken and chorizo, but I did not want the chips that came with it.Not an impossible request , but I thought it greedy to charge extra so refused out of principle.The chicken sandwich was overly full of bought in chicken and mayonnaise, half the amount would have been generous enough and then I could have had a bit of chorizo instead. I could not eat it all, it was so uninspiring. So we felt very put off by the experience. It maybe a few months before we bother again. Shame about the scones they had lulled me into a false sence...
