We initially made a reservation for 7:15 pm but requested to extend it to 7:45, fully expecting the restaurant to be busy. Surprisingly, it wasn’t. We kept anticipating a large group to arrive, but that never happened. It felt as though the staff were more interested in finishing early than focusing on their guests.

Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. The Cannelloni Vegetariani arrived piping hot but extremely dry, likely straight from the microwave. We also had to repeatedly ask for basic things like more drinks and sauces with our meal, which should have been asked without prompting.

To make matters worse, some of the younger staff were seen idly standing around on their phones, with one audibly remarking, "I really can't be arsed" as she walked towards the kitchen.

The only redeeming aspects of the experience were a friendly older staff member and the homemade limoncello, which was delightful. However, overall, it was quite a...

I've eaten here a few times now and, although I love the ambience of the place and the really friendly and efficient staff, I have never really been impressed with the food. Don't get me wrong, the food isn't bad, it's just not all that special. The flavours and the seasoning could be better in a lot of the dishes. I had the Minestrone soup and found it to be very thin and watery with hardly any flavour. The pizzas are hand made and well cooked, but again a little underwhelming. Likewise the desserts, the Tiramisu was basically just a cream and chocolate dessert with a barely noticeable coffee flavour. I have had supermarket tiramisu that were far more authentic. It wouldn't take much, though, to enable me to give it another star or two, and I wouldn't discourage anyone from eating here, as the overall experience is...

This is a real gem of a place, a must visit when visiting the Isle of Man. There is special atmosphere about this place. Booking is a must as it is really busy and popular with locals and tourists. Lovely food, nice wine what more do you want if you love Italian food. The staff are first class, I have mobility issues and there is an accessible area and toilet facilities. Where we sat was an upper level which we found it very warm, but there was a fan which helped. Prices are what you would expect to pay for quality, we have family that live on the island bays why we found the...

Really good food, reasonably priced, good atmosphere, busy so book in advance, and the owner and staff are really friendly and helpful.I first posted this review in 2019. Went back there recently, (2022) and the level is just as good. Great menu, perfectly prepared and presented, and a lovely vibrant atmosphere. Do not miss this one. Re-visited JULY 2023: still good, 3 rd visit, and even more highly recommended. Be sure to book ahead, it’s gets busy! I live this place!

Absolutely best pizza ever. These guys know what they're doing with your taste buds. Proper crispy, chewy, tasty base - with fresh hot n spicy topping. Omg... Ate it on the prom in my camper and 4 cans of Guinness 😋🤤😋🤤😋🤤😋🤤👍🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 Also - the professional staff were good enough to take my order before the kitchen was open - allowing me to get a pint in the hotel bar opposite 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Had the George Roughneck Calzone tonight. Oh my word the best I have ever had. So clean and grease free. Enough greens to kid your brain. Enough meat to satisfy your stomach. Cooked to perfection. You’ll never know unless you try. Great place, great value, great people. Took a picture half way through and one at the end. Perfect 👍🏻
