Court Cafe — Restaurant in Ramsey

I am a regular customer but wont be from now on and had the unfortunate experience of going in during a busy time of 12 pm on Tuesday 22nd February 2022.Upon entry the place was filled to the rafters with customers and I proceeded to the toilet.I went past the serving counter and down some stairs near the kitchen area.Upon seeing me even the slightly older more pleasant kitchen lady pronounced "Where is he going to sit?".The serving staff of the following day was fetching tea cups and saucers from the kitchen area and spotted me too enough to start an argument with me as a customer the next day as to my using the toilet as a public one. Once in the seating area I realised it was not easing up space wise I left as due to lack of seating and being too busy the cafe was a Covid risk. (busy places are areas one could easily come into contact with a virus carrier) I came in the following day at about the same time and proceeded to the service point when the local lass with mouse coloured hair recognising me stated in a "condescending" and "harsh" manner and nearly belittlingly that I should not consider the toilet as public she did not hesitate to mince her words.I then started to up my defence as to " why " and that even today Court Cafe was full.I tried to order and the lass said "Right can you leave!".No customer interface of allowing an explanation was allowed at all.Barely three sentences were uttered Extreme authoritarian serving staff member is an apt description. Now for the owner of the cafe to note that my behaviour of asking was not at all upsetting but the point at which the local lass got very affirmative and nasty I left.Do place a notice on the door Toilets are not for the public ....even when we are full and you might be padding time.This is not the first time service from the lass has been deplorable.If my actions were not standard or I was unruly behaved it would of been understandable that I leave.However the quality of staff and their attitudes towards serving members of the public that they dont like need looking at and appropriately dealt with.My actions of using the toilet and not finding a place to sit down in a cafeteria are quite a norm especially if recognised the next day as the random bloke using the toilet. #tt2022 #isleofmanservice...

We popped into the Court Café at 1pm when our coach trip stopped for a half hour break for a coffee and a toasted sandwich, the coffee came soon after ordering but still waiting at 1.25pm for the toasted sandwich. However I found it frustrating that people who ordered after us were receiving there orders before us. So decided to ask for a refund which they refused, but then our order appears which was cold so if I was not allowed a refund I decided to eat along the road back to the waiting coach as not allowed hot food. Not very...

Not good, very greasy, bacon over cooked, because there’s loads of fat on it, sausages taste less and over cooked, cheap beans, chopped tin tomatoes on a breakfast ?? Try fresh or plum, black pudding dry, Toast was cold, as arrived with drinks, way before the breakfast, son had crumpets he had eaten the before we had our breakfast as they arrived with toast, only thing that was ok was...
