The Swan — Restaurant in Ramsey

I have had a few really bad experiences people having to wait over an hour for the food which was undercooked and they had to get a refund and they had to close for a week because one of the chefs through an epileptic fit in the kitchen and could not return to work for over a week and the way they actually treat the kitchen staff is shocking they do not want to pay to clean the kitchen and everyone in the kitchen has to be out the door as soon as possible they do not give the staff time to clean the kitchen to a good standard my first review was before I actually knew what was going on behind the scenes and realised how expensive the food is for what you get I only had one good experience from then on that's when people started asking for refunds because the food...

We have visited the Swan several times with disabled elderly family along with our dogs. The staff could not be more helpful or friendly and this has always been our experience! We last visited on Sunday the 28th of September 25 with four of us, two dogs and two of our group using mobility aids. We were given the window seat, plenty of space to store the mobility aids, a rug and water for the dogs along with a wonderful welcome! We all had roast lunches (2 x child portions and 2 normal size) and in reality we could have all had the children's portions as the amount provided was so generous! One of our group overheard staff making comments about a big group that came in earlier saying they came in and expected everything, sorry your a pub/ eaterie. We were a big group also,so couldn't order our food as a whole,now as a big group we wouldn't expect it all to come out at once,but never got chance to explain that. But we all got food but the menu was very bland, not anything to write home about,chips were black n soggy,nachos were drowned in some sort of liquid and limp,burgers were dry,bar staff were not welcoming, and wasn't as if you were busy.
