Good food. Kind service. Nice ambience.
Note: I usually give vegan restaurants five stars just to support vegan establishments (unless the food and service are really bad).
I’ve been coming to this cafe once in a while because it’s all vegan and that’s great. I don’t have to worry about anything.
The food is pretty good. I’ve had the sandwiches, muffins, babka, cookies, focaccia, and coffee. The coffee is good, made with care.
The food selection is pretty wide, although somewhat bland. I like more diverse spices in my food. And I wish they would offer a protein selection that is not only soy-based. The prices are a little high for what you get, but I believe that’s probably because it’s on a main street with high rent.
The ambience is usually nice (but sometimes they play boring modern music, probably to satisfy the young servers’ musical taste 😂). It’s right on the street so it’s great for people-watching.
The service is nice, a little impersonal, but still kind. The impersonal service might be a reflection of the management. It could be a little more friendly.
The outdoor seating area is comfortable, but it needs an upgrade and a good cleaning (when I was there the surfaces were a little sticky and one of the table tops was very wobbly). I really like all the greenery - feels homey.
The bathroom is clean-ish. It could use some scrubbing and fixing up. It feels a little like a dungeon. There’s plenty of toilet paper, though. It’s wheel-chair accessible and that’s great.
All in all - a...
Read moreNice coffee shop in the middle of Tel Aviv We came for a friday breakfast. I heard a lot about this place that it is a great place to visit for a coffee and vegan options. The food was nice ,sadly the gluten free options of the sandwiches was not available. The restaurant located in Shlomo Ibn Gabirol street , which is one of the central streets in Tel Aviv. There is a bus station in front the coffe shop, try to avoid coming with a car because you probably won't find any parking there. The "Toskana Sandwich" was too salty and the coffee was too small. The price was fair for this kind of place, paid around 74 ils for 2 people. We arrived in the morning so the place was empty from clients but the one that passed there for a coffee were couples with babies or with dogs. The atmosphere was not the best because the coffe shop is in front the road but the plants covered some of this view ,a bit noisy but it's typical for this place, there was no music in the store . The service was excellent, the cashier took our order and explained us about everything we asked and made everything perfect. In overall the coffee shop is ok, was a bit of disappointed because I expected it to be better especially in the Gluten...
