September 2023 (3 stars): This known establishment lost its glory for me, mainly because of the high prices versus the small size of the dishes. Asking for 71 to 92 NIS for a small sized gnocchi or pasta, that leaves you hungry, no matter how tasty it is - is greediness. Rustico used to be called a trattoria, but with these prices - not any more. I was left with a feeling I've been robbed. There are many alternative great new pasta restaurants in TLV. Previous review - December 2019 (4 stars): One of the finest Italian restaurants in TLV. Dishes are very accurate and tasty. Lately there are some issues with the service. Read moreFantastic food, very prompt preparation of food and acceptable service.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Calabria pizza which features tomatoes, mozzarella, salami, roasted peppers, chili and oregano. The combination was perfect.
You could taste each of the ingredients which means they must be very fresh and very high quality.
The sauce was a perfect complement and I am very picky about sauces overpowering the other flavors.
Colleagues selected the Margherita pizza, Seafood Linguini featuring shrimps, calamari, mussels in butter, garlic and white wine. All are very critical of food quality and all had nothing but compliments.

Consistency with Rustico is their biggest strength. I've been going to both Rustico Basel and Rothschild locations for more than 5 years, largely ordering my same favorite dishes - and they were consistently good.
The restaurant is spacious, nicely designed, and overall a great venue for family dinners or events.
I would recommend that you arrive to the Basel area either by taxi or by foot. Driving and parking in that area is...
