We made a reservation for friday night. From the moment we arrived at the restaurant the staff was unwelcoming - just very uncomfortable. We decided to let it slide, and try to enjoy the restaurant as much as we could. But it was tough. We ordered sesame chicken, and what came was basically breaded chicken with ketchup. If i knew i was ordering nuggets i would have gone to McDonald's instead - it also cost us 60 shekels- total rip off. Mind you, the dish was listed together with all the chicken dishes, not labeled as "kids meal" and the manager ( I persume that's who she was) said that people usually order it for kids so this is how it came out. Well, they should communicate it in advance. No one mentioned it when we ordered it. The plain noodles we got for our kids - which we thought will be egg noodles -came as spaghetti with sauce - if I didn't have the kids with me who were hungry - we would have got up and leave! I swear, but for their sake, i said, let's give it a try and hope for a better dish for us. Well, what a shame. Should have left. The beef we got was hard, the sauce was meh, and to top it off, the secret ingredient was - human hair. Got 2 hairs in my plate alone. The first one i though well maybe it was from me or one of the kids, but the second one was obviously not ours - so there. Couldn't finish the rest of it after that so, yes - left the restaurant after paying for a full meal but was as hungry as i came in. The staff didn't even come once to check on our table and ask if we need anything or if everything is okay - it seems like they didn't even want us there. Trying to get their attention was impossible, and when we came it was us and another couple of tables - so not even as busy! I have no idea what was going on. It was really a terrible experience. So much that i decided it worth sharing with the world. Strongly not...
Read moreIve come to edit my review because we came to eat here and sadly im giving it 1 star. Starters was chinese salad, eggroll and bao. The salad was a huge pile of sticks of red hued carrot with a tiny bit of cucumber on top and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. As 2 of us finished our starters they brought the heating dish. I asked where the bao is and eas told its steamed so takes longer. I said just checking youre not brinking the mains before the starter. Oh The bao was 2 huge rice paper dumplings...not bao. The mains came. Crispy duck in orange sauce was duck wrapped in a few bits of soggy pastry in congealed orange goo. The rice was both hard and chewy, obviously old and reheated at least once, waitress was speachless. Huge disappointment as its not cheap and we came for a treat. Wont...
Read moreWe went there to celebrate a birthday on a Friday evening as a group of seven. Two women were working there (likely the owners), but neither of them smiled or welcomed us upon arrival. The service was slow and unfriendly, and one of our orders arrived an hour (!!) late because 'the kitchen never received it.' Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed the young waiter, who was clearly inexperienced. They didn’t even bother to apologize or offer any compensation. The food was ordinary—just like any other Chinese restaurant, nothing special. It seems like one of those places that rely on a great location and put in zero effort to...
