Uma Bar — Restaurant in Zikhron Yaakov

I had awful fish poisoning after visiting Uma Sushi. We ordered big set and one of them was with tuna tartar in spicy mayo, it smelled rotten, I tried 1 piece and understood that fish was pooey to eat, I said that to the waiter, he said he will ask the cook, we paid the bill, including this rotten roll. I cannot even explain how sick I was 2 hours after, i vomited and had to ask for medical help because of intoxication. The most surprising thing is that I texted Uma Sushi, that said sorry and… that’s all. So be careful and welcome if you want to spend 500 shekels for intoxication...

Really wanted to eat here on our stay in Zichron Ya'akov. We had reservations, but the staff refused to let us sit inside and every outside table was smoking making the air around us intolerable. The staff said that the patrons really weren't allowed to smoke, but they did nothing to prevent it, and did nothing to accommodate us. Two stars for mistreatment, but if you don't mind ingesting your food with a good dose of second hand smoke, then this might be a cool place for Sushi. 2 stars for cool, just wish I could have experienced...

We stumbled upon this place completely by accident after a concert, and it turned out to be one of the only spots open so late at night. What a pleasant surprise!

The food was simply wow – delicious, beautifully presented, and very fresh. The cocktails were excellent, crafted with real attention to detail, and the overall atmosphere was just perfect – cozy, vibrant, and welcoming.

Sometimes the best experiences are the unexpected ones, and this was definitely one of them. Highly recommended, and I’ll gladly...
