Ristorante Enoteca Allo Scalo — Restaurant in Adria

I hadn't been to the Scalo for a while, and certainly not since the new management came in.

I see that not a lot has changed - wisely - the restaurant still concentrates on seafood and the traditional decoration is the same.

On this occasion I was there at lunch-time with a group of people I'd been working with, so we went for the €14 "Menù Lavoro" (work menu). Service was extremely friendly, professional & quick (just as well as we were in our lunch break).

Everyone in the group went for the fish-based offering, pennette allo scoglio (pasta with mixed seafood), followed by sea bass ...

... apart from me, as I'm not a seafood fan, so I ordered the meat-based dishes, pennette with pesto followed by grilled beef steak. The €14 included drinks & coffee. The owner told me that they change the menu every day though, so regular customers don't get bored! However, there is always one fish-based and one meat-based fixed menu.

Obviously you can order à-la-carte too.

We randomly passed by this restaurant after a nice road trip through the Po delta landscape as we wanted to have a lunch break. Locale in crescita! Ci siamo stati diverse volte nell'arco degli anni ed e sempre un piacere pranzare e cenare qui piatti di pesce tipici e non eseguiti in eccellenza non mancano ostriche , tartufi, pesce e pescato fresco tipo rombo,sogliole, Anguilla,spigole, etc... I tempi di servizio e attesa sono in relazione ai piatti che si ordinano poiché vengono tutti preparati e cotti al momento! Una garanzia! Servizio di sala ineccepibile cordiali disponibili simpatici carta dei vini di importanza considerevole. Traendo le somme ...
