Signorvino Affi — Restaurant in Affi

We always stop here when we are in this region, to buy some wines. This time we decided also to have dinner in the restaurant, and to try/compare some wines. The guy who served us was very unpleasant, not speaking english and not understanding anything I say. So, he brought us one wrong set of 3 wines for degustation. Moreover, he put on our table 6 glasses with 5 different wines without any labels. Just saying names of the wines. I asked him to give us some paper labels with wine names, like they are doing in Tuscany, but no use of his English. Then I asked him to repeat the names so I can remember, and he was annoyed and impatient to answer any of my questions. So sad, I didn't expect this from Signorvino. Parmeggiano Melanzane: small portion for 14 EUR. It was served slightly warm, normally it is served very hot.

Roast Beef: Served cold. You receive thin slices of Roastbeef. They were absolutely dry. This was very a disappointing dish, which I could not finish. Accompanied by tasteless cocktail tomatoes and Parmeggiano slices.

Overall poor quality of cooking. Three stars for location, good service and cosy atmosphere. I was the last time...

It was a very good experience to eat there. We were on Thursday 29.08. We ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese, the Gnocco Fritto with Mortadella Favola and the Risotto and they were just very tasty.
