Gohan Agrigento - Restaurant Japanese Sushi — Restaurant in Agrigento

Staff were really really really nice. The restaurant was full of tourists - and we love to ask for lots of things (but not all at once, we seem to wait until you've returned with Sarah's something before asking for Robert's something haha). Their patience and speed was incredible! They let me keep my monopattino close to the door, so I could watch it from my table, very kind of them. Thank you!

What disappointed me were the two problems that follow:

MY main dish was served on a chipped plate. Okay it wasnt broken where my food was, but still. That, to me, is a huge sign of disrespect to your customers; not to mention a health rule violation. I understand when you were busy there's going to be some oversight, so not the end of the world, but please check your plates - maybe when taking them out of the dishwasher?

Also, I ordered a baozi (number 40 on their menu). After it arrived, the waiter with whom I had ordered saw it and agreed with me that it looked nothing like the picture (or any baozi either of us had ever eaten). He removed it from my bill and waited when I paid to make sure I didn't get charged for it. Huge high five to your staff for handling what could've been awkward with grace...

So happy to find an Asian / Japanese restaurant in Agrigento, Sicily. I had a 1 night rest from eating Italian Food such as Pasta & Pizza. Yeey!👏 Since I have been in the Island for 3 weeks. 😂🙈✌️ The restaurant looks new, cozy with Japanese tables even. It's Monday the restaurant was not full. It is a Buffet Restaurant, but you always have to order or write on a paper the Items you want in the Menu. Then they will serve it direct to your table, each Adults have to pay for 26€ , drinks extra. The only thing that turns me off, was that even the serving plate is damaged they still use it. 😳👎 (Picture attached) I am working in a Hospitality Industry and this is a big NO in the food business. Decent food and ambiance for an outing with friends, unfortunately 1) low level of cleanliness, the floor is greasy and slippery, in the states it would be a lawsuit waiting to happen on multiple levels, 2) Sadly I also saw a roach belly up in the bathroom during my last visit, hopefully kitchen and food prep areas are cleaner than that. 3) So far been there 3 times and did get sick... Luck perhaps? The last time was a bit disappointing because given the emergency I would have expected a higher level of cleanliness, 4) Prices are ok although one is always forced to opt for the all you can eat given the pricing and size of each single item in the menu. Hopefully they will improve on...
