We had a long day of driving and had difficulty finding a place to eat as it was earlier then most places opened for dinner. We pulled up and we were the only customers.

The employees were out front smoking- no problem as long as hands washed right?

I am not going to address the food mostly because it was fine but lacked flavor that we had experienced elsewhere in Sicily. I really did NOT want write this review but my family pushed me to. I love to write positive reviews to boost people’s small businesses…. 80% of all my reviews are positive. This review is based on the service from Ali. Ali, I thought you were just being overly friendly and I hadn’t planned on reviewing even though I was uncomfortable with all the touching- high 5s, fist bumps and just overall touching- but for me, I am a 54 yr old woman so I wouldn’t have written this if my 13 year old hadn’t been so upset. She is not a sensitive child but she is not used to strangers commenting on her gender, or talking about taking her to their house as he wants to her uncle and It is NEVER okay to touch a child unless they provoke it. You did the fist bumps, called her a boy and said you wanted to take her home- I still thought this was just you being over friendly. My daughter did not. It has taken me a week (i think as we have been on vacation for over a month and I am losing track of time) you place your hands on my daughters head and shook her hair affectionately…. That is not ok… I hate that I still feel like you were just being over friendly but her take is quite different and my daughter rarely complains but she does not like her space invaded and tried to make it clear. it was uncomfortable and scary and she was confused why a stranger would touch her/us so much. Please stop doing this. As a 54 year old woman I could have stopped it and I am mad that I didn’t realize how uncomfortable she was until after we left. I debated contacting the business but if you are still working there I want this fixed so the next girl with a short haircut doesn’t get called a boy or to be touched inappropriately (not your child- all touching is inappropriate unless they invite it). Just stop at the high 5

Again, I didn’t want to write this but as i do I am getting really angry for my daughter. Please just teach this waiter to not touch people. Every damn time he came to the table. I didn’t realize my husband was fuming about it but we were so tired he didn’t say anything but he was about to.

The fact that you kept telling me to add your name to the review does tell me that you didn’t think this was unacceptable and I hope you can keep your job but also keep your hands to yourself. We are friendly but still don’t want strangers touching us.

So maybe it's the first time I will write a negative comment about some restaurant or a place for food But this time I decide to do it To be honest the food it was delicious but the service it was not organized. We made the order for our dinner it was arriving after one hour. And everything we were asking about it after that it arrive 30 min after asking about ( salt. Bread. Water. Drinks.... ). Imagine a restaurant without tissues in a table !!!!! we were in need to ask about it too. And after all that we ask about the total amount to pay and it doesn't arrive too. We were forced to go to ask about it and to pay in casse by our self.😕 And we talk about everything before to pay but no one care really . In general the services it was so bad. And also the workers they were not so friendly except an old foreign man he was the only one friendly and he gave attention to...

The restaurant is run by the Nona family, the children were very sweet and the owners made us feel at home. The menu is not only pizza based but they also make starters, main courses and meat or fish. The second most important information is they are open during the lunch time. Now the pizzas... We had these two pizzas and Wow the sourdough is very nice well made, It does not make you bloated and It does not make you thirsty during the night which is really important. Now the taste was well balanced and the look was stunning. If you are walking in the area of Villaggio Mosè you should try it, don't be fooled by appearances. We had Pizza Favarisa, Pizza giù giú, fries dippers with pistachio and they offered us the nodes with Nutella at the end. Really affordable...
