DELICIOUS! Antipasto including the most amazing Frittata, pasta, granita, the marmalades - everything was fresh and delicious. This place is run by a German couple - retired teachers who moved to Aidone a number of years ago and learned their impeccable cooking, baking, granita and marmalade making skills, plus how to run a cafe! It's an impressive accomplishment and we all win because they have created a wonderful, casual place with hospitality as nice as their food as named on the Piazzetta of the Museo. Another bonus is they are open all day long, including during the siesta when most places in town close, so you'll find a mix of young and old locals and a few tourists here! Highly Recommend!

We began our meal with a delightful vegetarian dish that included Focaccia, aubergines , spinach, potatoes, and bell peppers. For the main course, we enjoyed Spaghetti with Aubergine. Dessert was a true treat, a yogurt cake with peaches, then fresh fruit and a scoop of ice cream, and a cookie paired with chocolate. The location was perfect, and the service and staff were outstanding. The food was authentically Sicilian and incredibly delicious, reminiscent of homemade cuisine. The restaurant is run by a German family who truly knows how to prepare Sicilian dishes!

An absolute gem besides the archeology museum. Perfect spot for lunch, with various small bites - one tastier than the other (oven-cooked arancini!). Nice wines. They make their own cakes, biscuits, and jams, all delicious. The German owner loves Sicily, is super nice and proud of his creations. What a find!

We first came here in 2019 before Covid. The owners are lovely, as is the homemade food. On both occasions we had a freshly-made pasta dish and an arancino with wild fennel and local cheese. Last time, this was wrapped in the local version of filo pastry, this time I think it was thin home-made pastry. Either way, it was delicious, especially the salad selection that came with it. Home-made lemon drink for me as well. Only downside? You have to sit outside, so victims of the weather, plus the stairs to the loo if you...
