La Nicchia — Restaurant in Alberobello

THE WORST restaurant and service I have ever benn and had in ITALY, for not saying the world, I am honestly amazed at how bad the service was at this restaurant and how awful the waiters were. First they could not find our reservation which was written by hand in a messy white paper. Then, they put us in an staggered table. I had to ask minimum 7 times to get the table fixed. This was about 20 minutes, in which we were not brought even water, not ask if we needed something and not tell how to get to the menu. To fixed the table they literally had to put a paper under one of the legs of the table. For the menu they did not even have code. You have to find them in facebook and then find the menu. To order the bottle of prosseco/asti, was also an issue, first I order, then they say they did not have. Then I ask what was available and they were unsure. I ended up basically taking whatever they said they had. Then I let my girlfriend decided what to order. They took 1 hour and a half to bring us the pasta. Telling the waiters was only making it worst. I believe every other table got their food before us. I ask for the manager at least 8 times and the waiters were just ignoring us. Durante una recente visita ad Alberobello, ho avuto il piacere di cenare al ristorante La Nicchia, situato nel cuore di questa affascinante città famosa per i suoi trulli. L'esperienza è stata decisamente memorabile e merita una menzione speciale.

Ambiente e Atmosfera La Nicchia si trova in un trullo restaurato, che aggiunge un tocco autentico e pittoresco all'esperienza culinaria. L'interno è accogliente e ben arredato, con un'attenzione particolare ai dettagli che riflettono la tradizione pugliese. Le luci soffuse e l'ambiente intimo rendono il ristorante perfetto per una cena romantica o un'occasione speciale. Servizio Il personale è stato estremamente cordiale e professionale. Dall'accoglienza al servizio al tavolo, ogni membro dello staff ha dimostrato una grande competenza e passione per il proprio lavoro. Menu e Qualità del Cibo Il menu di La Nicchia propone una varietà di piatti tipici della cucina pugliese, preparati con ingredienti freschi e di alta qualità. Ho avuto modo di assaggiare diverse portate e tutte hanno superato le aspettative.

Antipasti: Gli antipasti sono stati un vero trionfo di sapori. La selezione di formaggi e salumi locali è stata accompagnata da verdure fresche e conserve fatte in casa. Primi Piatti: Tra i primi, i "cavatelli ai frutti di mare" sono stati eccezionali, con una perfetta cottura della pasta e un sugo ricco e saporito. Secondi Piatti: La "tagliata di manzo" era tenera e succulenta, accompagnata da contorni saporiti e ben presentati. Dolci: Per concludere, i dolci della casa, come il "tiramisu al pistacchio", sono stati una vera delizia.

Prezzi I prezzi sono in linea con la qualità dell'esperienza offerta. Considerando l'alto livello del cibo, del servizio e dell'atmosfera, il rapporto qualità-prezzo è decisamente positivo.

Conclusione La Nicchia è senza dubbio un ristorante che consiglio vivamente a chiunque visiti Alberobello. We visited this restaurant because it was recommended by an agriturismo waiter in the neighbourhood. We were 8 persons. Six of us ordered an antipasto while the other two ordered seafood rice. Antipasto was on the table after 30 mins but the rice took one and a half hours to come out. We arrived at the restaurant at 8:30 but rice was on the table at 10. The others had to wait for the others two to eat the rice. At last the main course came out. Two of us took the meat and were satisfied but the other six took mixed grilled seafood. Food was terrible.... Everything (prawns, octopus etc ) were freezed and not caught locally. I have been to a lot of restaurants around Italy but this ranks last...
