Lo Chalet Ristorante Wine & Bar — Restaurant in Alghero

We went on a Sunday in the evening around 7.30pm. We immediately got a table but service was slow, although the restaurant wasn’t really full and 4 waitresses were assigned for the service area. We received the drinks after 20 minutes, the tables left and right already had drinks, bread and oil despite arriving after us. We never got bread and oil for starters, bread came with the dinner. They were out of spider crab that was in the menu, so we switched to lobster, an upgrade from 20 euros to 25. Although there wasn’t much lobster on the plate, the quality and taste was excellent. We also ordered Sardinian Lados pasta with Gorgonzola cheese sauce, plenty and also excellent. The caprese was a joke, four small slices of tomato with 4 slices of mozzarella cheese for 8 euros. Premetto che nella qualità del cibo sono molto esigente in quanto a casa, per cultura della buona alimentazione, utilizziamo prodotti freschi, del territorio e di fascia media-alta. Detto questo entro nel merito della cena semplice effettuata il 12.07.24. Ho telefonato per prendere appuntamento ed ho riscontrato educazione dall'altra parte del telefono. Unica critica, non possono dare del tu a dei clienti che non conoscono, ma nulla di grave. Arrivati, veniamo accolti con piacevole gentilezza e sorrisi da una ragazza che ci avrebbe poi servito al tavolo. Davvero una persona gentile, educata e piacevole nel parlarci. L'ambiente si presenta spazioso, tavoli non addossatti, una sala al chiuso ed una veranda coperta all'aperto molto gradevole e ben curata. Ambiente pulito. Ordino, con molta diffidenza, un piatto di totani non freschi e fritti (nel 99% mangio solo calamari freschi appena pescati e potete capire la mia preoccupazione in questi totani del ristorante). Ebbene, i loro totani si presentano con una eccezionale frittura bella croccante, la qualità del totano è buona e, nel complesso, sono rimasto soddisfatto e assegno un 8, in una scala da 1 a 10. Chiedo anche delle patatine fritte: buone ed ottima frittura. Arriva quindi un primo piatto di pasta con purpurza (carne della salsiccia) con gorgonzola: voto 8, un buon piatto gustoso. Complessivamente siamo rimasti contenti e ritorneremo. La struttura non è vista mare, ma si attesta sulla litoranea che da Alghero conduce a Fertilia, bordo strada e frontale alla pineta oltre la quale, a 60 metri c'è la bellissima spiaggia di Maria Pia. Zona con tanti parcheggi gratuiti ed a pagamento. Prezzi del menù: adeguati alla qualità di tutto il contesto. Complimenti alle due ragazze che ci hanno servito nella veranda esterna, davvero molto gentili. Le foto che inserisco, si riferiscono alla serata...

We had dinner for two. Spend 62 euros. Main dishes and drinks. Food was good. Keep in mind side dishes should be ordered separately. One side dish easily can be for two people. Music.. Would like to be polite gigi dagostino wasn't good as can be place as this, because atmosphere is very cozy and we would like to stay longer.

Service. Hope it's the beggin of the season. Waitress should look out more at client :) desert would be ordered, but not this time. Also where is cover fee 2...
