Ristorante Rocca Beach Experience — Restaurant in Alzachèna/Arzachena

This place has no website and no place to see menu and prices in advance. We looked for a place to eat fish and arrived after recommendation from the hotel. The fish cost 120 euro for 600 gram (sea-bass) , the waiter ask us which side dish we want (sound reasonable to give side dish with this cost of fish) they charge us for 12 euro each small side dish , they gave each person one slice of bread and in the end when we said we don’t want dessert the waiter ask hot drink? We said no. So she said let me give you typical Sardinian drink, we said ok. They charged us on this also!!! The food was good but we ate few days before in Michelin restaurant at Rome and pay the same price and ate much more. they are trying to do fancy restaurants but actually being really miser and pushing! While it may not have a classic white sandy beach, we had access to a small, calm, and beautiful beach that felt almost private—perfect for our family, including a baby, as it was so peaceful.

The property is beautifully decorated with a breathtaking view and a well-maintained garden. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. All amenities were available, access was easy, and the service was truly exceptional—11/10! The hostess was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the staff were attentive, professional, and warm. It’s a fantastic alternative to the overly busy and overpriced beach clubs in the area.

Food-wise, I’d give it 4 stars only because the scallops in my risotto were slightly overcooked. Otherwise, everything else was delicious.

The food is tasty and presented nicely on the plate. The area around the restaurant and the view onto the sea are great. We came here twice. The first time the bill included a drink that was never delivered. After complain the bill was quickly corrected by the chief of service, but without any word of sorry for the inconvenience. The second time we have been stopped from leaving the restaurant on the doorstep by the chief of service charging that we had to still sign the bill, which had already been signed.
