Talozzi bistrot della fonte — Restaurant in Anghiari

A charming bistro located at the entrance to the medieval part of Anghiari. Open to guests even during the traditional Italian pause pranzo. A big attraction is the possibility of choosing a seat outside of bistro in the walls of the historic loggia. The menu is modest but substantial. This is simple, local cuisine, far from the opulence of Tuscan restaurants aimed at foreign customers. During my visit, I decided to taste the parmigiana which was served more in the form of a goulash than lasagna. For secondo, I got the popular Tuscan pici pasta with an onion-based sauce and crumbles. A praise of simplicity and a truly authentic experience that gave me energy before the Anghiari tour. The location is absolutely gorgeous, all fresco tables are under the old arches and next to the fountain with the koi. Located under the main plaza piazza Baldaccio, you'll miss it easily. Three duck was very good, the roasted potatoes were re-toasted so they don't are hard as a rock. Didn't try anything else but they brought us some watermelon very nice touch.
