Bad experience We went to this place for sunbeds and lunch because it was one of the top rated restaurants in Arenzano. After our visit, we don’t understand why. The food was bad and the service even worse.

We were a group of three people that were denied three sunbeds. We got told that it was “impossible” and had to share two beds for 50€. The same lady served us for lunch, and we perceived her as extremely rude. When one of us wanted to order a toast (as we’ve seen a guest already eat this, but could not find it on the menu) the lady reacted very dramatically and told us “this is not a bar, this is a restaurant”… the other two ordered seafood which was either much too salty or tasteless. The best dish was the toast which we got reluctantly.

The sauce on the Ravioli Burrata was really good, but with just a tiny bit of burrata that wasn’t amazing. The calamari fritti were just dull, with a boring leaf of lettuce, and not worth its € 18 at all. Asked for Aioli to flush them away but they didn’t have any. In all I’m afraid I must conclude ‘very average taste, and pretty much overpriced.’ I would give two stars but after spending €50 on a disappointing lunch, I asked if I could leave my laptop bag behind the counter for 2 minutes for a quick dip in the ocean before going back to work… The answer was that I needed to rent a chair for that. Arredamento voto 7.5 Allestito in maniera sobria ma molto curata dove il legno colore chiaro la fa da padrone, il ristorante non è molto cambiato in fatto di interni rispetto alla precedente gestione, dà una netta sensazione di pulizia e ordine al suo interno. Il ristorante inoltre dispone di uno buono spazio esterno ideale per le cene estive all'aperto, non mancano comunque i posti anche al suo interno nel periodo invernale.

Menù voto 8+ Pizze cotte nel forno a legna, sono di spessore "medio" , precisamente abbiamo preso una classica margherita ( voto 8) e una con crudo e mozzarella di bufala ( voto 8 )... Che dire..promosse in pieno!! Come dolce della casa abbiamo ordinato una torta al cioccolato con granella di pistacchi ( voto 8 ) e un tiramisù un po' " alternativo" dove al posto dei classici savoiardi c'erano dei fantastici cantucci ( voto 9 ), da notare come da foto il bellissimo impiattamento del tiramisù, io sono per la tradizione del classico tiramisù, ma vi assicuro che anche questa versione è un semplicemente sublime, lo chef che ha fatto la crema andrebbe premiato con un nobel alla cucina!!

Conto voto 9.5 Il prezzo più basso speso per due pizze, birra, acqua, due dolci e due caffè non poteva avere un voto così alto, senza dimenticare che siamo in Liguria che non e famosa per i suoi prezzi economici, questo ristorante / pizzeria è per il momento il migliore da me provato come rapporto...
