So because I had given the Titel „king of beef“ to another great Gastronom with beautiful restaurants in Düsseldorf, Cologne and - the hottest thing- in Dubai, now I am very proud to give the Titel „king of seafood“ to these great Gastronom with restaurants in balestrate (near palermo) and also in Düsseldorf Harbour. The name of the restaurants: Da Cla! And…in balestrate you can also check in one of the best hotels in Italy. Hotel Marina holiday and spa. Great! And also from the owner of da cla. So you can stay at the beautiful hotel, join the great spa and go one minute downstairs in this amazing restaurant. So beautiful and great with the freshest fish and seafood ever. Thanks a lot! Great people, great dishes, lovely interior and soo amazing service. Everything is possible!

Avevo grandi aspettative su questo posto che volevo provare da diversi anni, ma temo di aver avuto un pessimo tempismo; a giudicare dalle review di qualche anno fa, deve essere cambiato qualcosa. La location è molto bella con una romantica vista sul mare e il personale è gentile ma queste due cose non sono riuscite a farmi perdonare le pecche. Ci era stato illustrato un antipasto di pesce crudo come fuori menù, e abbiamo deciso di ordinarne uno da dividere. In realtà è arrivato un antipasto misto crudo e cotto; il crudo anche buono mentre il cotto era da gastronomia. Le porzioni decisamente abbondanti ma nel conto abbiamo poi visto che ci sono stati addebitati 2 antipasti per 25 euro ciascuno. Abbiamo poi ordinato una pasta ai ricci e un tonno scottato (buoni entrambi). 2 calici di vino e un caffè. Totale: 116,50 Euro. Il conto peraltro è stato fatto due volte perché la prima avevano dimenticato il coperto (6 euro per 2), che a questo punto si sarebbe potuto omaggiare, ma sono scelte gestionali... Prezzo totale decisamente sovradimensionato rispetto alla quantità e qualità di quanto consumato. A Balestrate si può mangiare meglio e a prezzi più contenuti altrove. Mi auguro genuinamente di aver beccato una serata storta, perché il posto è veramente magico e basterebbe poco per rendere cucina e servizio all'altezza. Fino ad allora, suggerisco di rivedere i prezzi.

La ristorazione di altissimo livello in Sicilia è un ispirazione e un obbiettivo, che non si riesce a raggiungere mai completamente... Un posto per i palati raffinati che amano la cucina ispirata alle tradizioni culinarie regionali e non solo. Il posto specialmente la terrazza estiva a strapiombo sul mare così come l arredamento e tutto il resto è incantevole e romantico, degno della cornice di un set cinematografico!! Il proprietario molto gentile, incontrato nel parcheggio, ha creato davvero un angolo nascosto e prezioso, in cucina sanno fare il loro mestiere piatti ottimamente realizzati e presentati, qualcuno un pò meno bene.... slegato o un pò più cotto del dovuto ma subito sostituito, confrontandoci a certi livelli manca un pizzico di passione in più nei sapori, ma chiariamo subito!!! fino a Palermo non c è un ristorante migliore di questo sulla costa e si parla di dettagli, servizio sala eccellente, grazie. Il fatto che il locale abbia i prezzi in linea con un ristorante stellato preserva l ambiente tranquillo da schiamazzi volgari ed insopportabili che nella regione sono usuali nelle pizzerie ristoranti e locali siciliani purtroppo. Complimenti ritorneremo.

We went with the family during our trip to Balestrate and were highly disappointed by our experience. The food was nice but the service was terrible! It took almost 3 hours to have 2 courses which is unacceptable. The food also came out separately so some were finishing their mains while others arrived which is very poor and especially challenging when dining with young children.

Such a shame as there is so much potential. We asked the staff if we could speak with the manager to which they refused. The restaurant was very quiet so they should have been easily able to accommodate our orders. Overall very poor management of the entire situation.

I would highly recommend avoiding this restaurant given the appalling...

We were group of ten persons. We booked a table via telephone couple hours before arriving. We ordered starters, first and second plate. We got only some of starter’s and one second plate. The rest of the food we ordered neveer arrived. After almost two hours of waiting and without reasonable explanation why the food was delayed, we went out from the restaurant. Absolutely unacceptable for such a nice place. The positive thing is that restaurant is on very nice location, the food we got is nice. I have to mention that a personal apologies to us, and we didn’t had to pay...
