La Darsena — Restaurant in Bardolino

We were 8 people and decided to have some dinner on the lakeside and found this beautiful restaurant that could accommodate us all. The staff was very friendly when taking our orders and were able to communicate with us in English. We even got a free Gingerino before we got our food which was very nice from the staff. We order different pizzas and a calzone. The calzone was huge and very tasty as well as the different types of pizzas we ordered. The Pizza sizes were also very large and contained a nice ratio of tomato sauce to cheese as well as toppings. The Tiramisu was also delicious as it was not too sweet and contained a perfect amount of coffee. Even after dessert, we received a “Sorbetto al Limone” on the house which definitely made our visit very special. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that is around...

Love it. This is my favourite restaurant.

The staff is super helpful. For example, my mom dropped a fork, and they immediately replaced it with a clean one. There is a great view of the lake, and the food is amazing.

I recommend the gnocci with truffle and scallops. It's my favourite dish. Their crema catalana is also lovely.

They have great bathroom facilities, like a large toilet with a changing station and a private sink, a separate public sink, and a second toilet. It's also really clean and well maintained.

They have lamps for each table when you're there after sundown and can also provide booster seats if you need any.

Honestly the Worst food I have ever eaten! Not only that I had the feeling that I was eating frozen reheated food with no taste what so ever!!! It was a horrible atmosphere. I had the tagliatelle with Tartufo… well let me say I am still waiting for the Tast to quick in. The pasta was basically butter and pasta! A hint for the kitchen: next time put the tartufo in the sauce.

To put the cherry on top of this: they wanted to charge us for something we did not even have.
