WE HAD A REALLY SHOCKING EXPERIENCE! . I had already been for lunch at this restaurant about a year ago with a friend and we had enjoyed the food and the view of the lake. The service too had been good and friendly. We returned yesterday and we both ordered the same poke bowl I had very liked last time. To our surprise, without any information or explanation by the waitress, the bowls came with half of the ingredients and the dressing totally different from the ones listed in the menu and shown in the picture. When we brought this issue to the attention of the waitress, she (without apologising) said that they had limited ingredients at the moment because they only opened on weekends. We apologised but said that we needed to change our order as we couldn’t eat the dish as it was composed, both for allergy and tastes reasons. Of course, we wouldn’t have ordered that dish if we had been informed before about the lack of ingredients. She took away the bowls but after a while we was told by another waitress that the CHEF had said that the beverages that we had already partially drunk were free but WE WERE INVITED TO GO TO ONE OF THE NEARBY RESTAURANTS where we would have found something more satisfying. Astonished, we asked why we couldn’t simply order another dish, but she said that THE CHEF had said he had always made that bowl that way and that if we don’t like it we were invited to go to another restaurant. Of course that wasn’t true, otherwise it would have shown differently on the menu. When I asked if I could talk to the chef, she said “Better not “ AT THE END WE DIDN’T HAVE CHOICE BUT TO LEAVE LIKE WE WERE UNDESIRABLE GUESTS!!! And that only for having asked to been served the food as shown in the menu or at least to be given the possibility to chose an...
Read moreWe were pleased to find this restaurant as the Oleandri in Bardolino had sadly closed due to unfortunate circumstances. The food at The Oleandri was always superb... so it was great to find out that the chef (Ellio) from the Oleandri restaurant had now opened his own lakeside restaurant in Cisano, called the “Molo N.3”. The staff have also moved with Ellio and are as attentive as ever (thank you Mirko). The food is excellent - as good as it was at the Oleandri. We and our friends had the mussels, the lobster tagliatelle, spaghetti arabiatta and the gnocchi – these were some of our favourites from the Oleandri and they did not disappoint at the Molo N.3. We cannot recommend highly enough, we will be back to enjoy the food and the fabulous lakeside views. PS: worth noting that the current owner has only had the restaurant since March 2024 - so I suggest you ignore reviews...
Read moreAte here on our last night of our holiday and wished we'd come sooner. The staff are very attentive and friendly, helped us choose a wine and got us set up nicely to watch the sunset. The bruchetta was lovely (I don't like eating raw tomatoes normally) lasagne 10/10 and the lobster pasta was delicious. Desserts also incredible just a struggle to fit all the food in. Special thanks to the lovely waitress originally from Bari who has visited Scotland before we could have chatted to her all night. Also they really understood us speaking English and the communication was the easiest out of all the restaurants we ate in. Super impressed with the price too for 6 plates of food, a bottle of wine, a couple of aperols and limonecello for...
