La Rocca Punto di Ristoro — Restaurant in Bardolino

Wonderful restaurant above the hills in Bardolino. I recommend booking a table in advance if you want to eat here. We absolutely adored the staff and loved the food. As a starter we had linguine with truffles which was out of this world, additionally to linguine with ragout and an aubergine lasagna. Each dish is made with love and attention to detail when it comes to flavors. The gniocchi were wonderful and the fish dishes very fresh. A highlight was the polenta! This restaurant also serves wine from its own vineyard and olive oil from their own production. It’s absolutely fabulous! Another highlight were the desserts. The panda cotta with fresh peaches was a DREAM and the tiramisu came very close to the best I have ever eaten (my aunt makes the best so that’s hard to beat ;)) last but not least the vanilla gelato with rum raisins finished off the night with a kick! You must go here!! Lovely vibes in this restaurant, knowledgeable staff who know their menu and sensational food. Great this was walking distance from our hotel so we could enjoy a bottle of the restaurants white wine (yum!). We ordered the trout starter to share, then the steak and fish with side of potatos and salad to share for mains and also desserts and it was all delicious. When we come back to Lake Guarda, we will be coming back...

Einfach nur bezaubernd… wir hatten gestern im Rahmen eines Gardasee-Trips bei dieser familiengeführten „Vinery“ eine Weinverkostung gebucht. Und was soll ich sagen? Man muss nicht mal Weinliebhaber sein, um hier ein paar unvergessliche Stunden zu verbringen: ein authentischer und ausgezeichneter Service, wirklich tolle Weine und „ganz nebenbei“ zu jedem der 4 verschiedenen Weine perfekt darauf abgestimmte Speisen, alles selbstgemacht und geschmacklich herausragend. Die Inhaberin (Sonja) führt in sehr gutem Englisch durch die Geschichte des Familienbetriebes, dabei ist die Leidenschaft bei ihren Ausführungen omnipräsent.
