B & B Colle San Giorgio — Hotel in Garda

The place has a very nice pool and offers great view over the lake. However, heartwarming welcome, flair and nice owners are not part of this deal.||We were on our honeymoon trip and reserved a room acknowledging the owners that this is on our honeymoon trip. |We got a room above the entrance and probably the only room not facing the lake. It had a connection door to the neighbour room. Neighbour room hosted a family with child. You could hear every single word and everything you usually don't want to hear e.g. what every people do in the toilet. Apparently the owner gave a s... about honeymoon.|We checked out after one night and after long discussions and a lot of back and forth we got the three remaining nights refunded. Thanks for the courtesy thus it was a non - refundable booking. However, thus main season they could rent the place right away.|After the querels with the owners we had no temptations to try the breakfast so can't judge on it.|The owner told booking.com we had a no show so we couldn't provide customer feedback....|My personal opinion: This place is clean and has a nice pool but lacks flair and heartwarming welcome. Not all of the rooms are nice and you will be in a normal b&b rather than having some Italian flair. We found a better place just a few minutes away where when had...

Colle San Giorgio is a wonderful place to stay for people who are looking for a quiet, charming holiday, intimacy (only 6 rooms), a tremendous view over the lake from the room's balcony, the breakfast area and the beautiful infinity pool...and a good breakfast including home made torta (quiche) & cake and delicious cappuccino :-)|Also the family that runs the b&b, a mother and her 2 sons will do everything to serve and help their customers. Very kind! You immediately feel at home. Their family has a small charming wine and olive oil shop in Bardolino, would certainly recommend this as well.|We have never stayed in a hotel that was more clean and tidy than this one, seriously. Congratulations to the house keeper, she's also doing a great job.|In a nutshell, for us it seems one of the best places to stay around Garda...

A rough road will lead you to this B&B and his stunning view to lake Garda and the mountains of East Lake Garda. We had booked the honeymoon room on highest floor which offers a small balcony. The room itself is a little small, same is valid for toilet/shower.||The breakfast selection is ok, everything nice presented. Again breakfast room inside is a little small, especially if several guest come at the same time.||Reception was friendly and advised to all our questions.||So why do we rate this B&B just with 3 stars? The guys at the reception did not take any care wrt ou luggage, means accompanying us to the room but let my wife carry her big bag and me the big suitcase - not acceptable elsewhere, for sure not in a...
