Ristorante Carnivora — Restaurant in Bari

Honestly we couldn't ask for more. The day was not going well ( 6 h to kill before flight)but the restaurant was so welcoming and lovely that it has turned in to a highlight of our trip. Staff was super friendly and welcoming despite the mountain of travel bags we brought with us. We had most amazing bottle of wine, exquisite tartare with truffles and most amazing Florentina- t-bone steak. Not to forget fantastic bread.Desserts were great too- Pistachio Baba and something similar to tiramisu. The lovely staff ordered us a taxi and we headed back to airport. This place is a little gem. This was one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. This bistro isn't too far from the port of Santo Spirito, tucked away up a street. We were greeted immediately upon walking in and saw a display of all of the steaks sitting on ice in a display case. We were brought to our table, given a complimentary glass of prosecco and bruschetta. Our hostess was, without a doubt, one of the nicest people we've met on our travels. She brought us menus in English and recommended several different things to us.

I was looking for a place to get a nice meal before my flight back to Rome and found Ristorante Carnivora. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas 🎄! The hostess was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. She offered a holiday glass of Prosecco 🥳 I had the carpaccio with fresh asparagus and the orecchiette pasta. Both were delicious!! Generous portions. The bread they served was one of the best I have had in Italy.
