Wow! We visited the restaurant yesterday with friends. I wanted a bit of a treat and, as good fish and seafood is rare in Umbria, we decided to visit following a recommendation. We knew that it would be expensive but we were blown away by the food. The menu consists of a small number of degustation menus ranging in price from €40 to €70 a head. All guests at each table have the same menu. We chose the sea and land menu degustation and it did not disapoint. From the bite sized pre aperitivi through the 6 courses of our €65 a head menu it was a taste and texture revelation. We finished with coffee and the most delicate petit fours. Everything we ate was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Well worth paying the extra to experience this fabulous food. We selected a crisp unoaked chardonnay to go with the meal, which was perfect, we had 2 bottles of the wine over the course of the meal.
